Umarex 40XP CO2 BB Pistol, Metal Slide, Black W/Silver Slide

Totally satisfied with this gun. It is real powerhouse. The trigger pull is pretty sound, close to most real guns that without trigger upgrades. It has performed flawlessly right out of the box

The front side has no dot on it. That should be a given. I could remedy that myself, but I would rather have the manufacturer take cate of it. I can shoot very accurately in spite of the omission.

I think it is a great buy. I have seen reviews that talk about the gun blowing through CO2 faster than normal. I have not had any such issue.

The gun has a good feel to it. It looks good and is pretty accurate at 30 feet for first 40 or so shots. The slide is really heavy metal and makes a clinking sound when it kicks back. I think the weight of the slide makes it a Co2 hog. The slide didnt lock all the time when the magazine was out of BB's. When its low on Co2 it wont lock back at all. You have to slap the magazine hard to make sure its seated right. Ther fiber optic sights are nice for aiming. It's not bad for ther price.

Make the slide a bit lighter so it uses less Co2 to kick it back and doesnt make the clunking sound. It would enable more accurate shots.

Make sure you have plenty of Co2 because it uses a lot of it. Expect about 50 decent shots on one cylinder. After that the shots tend to go a stray you have to adjust for it.

Had this gun about 3 weeks. The gun looks good and feels good but its a Co2 hog. If I get 40 good shots out of it i'm lucky. You can get about 20 more maybe but the accuracy really falls off. The slide doesnt always lock back when out of BB's. When the CO2 is low it wont at all. The slide is too heavy and makes a cheap clinking sound. They should try making the slide it lighter and coating it with plastic to improve the amount of Co2 the gun uses.

Make the slide lighted so it wont take as much Co2 to kick it back. Giving more accurate shots.

Make sure you have lots of Co2 because youre gonna need it.

Feel in hand. Blowback is very realistic. Magazine is top notch, easy to load and hides the co2 wonder. Loud realistic sound.

Nothing I can think of honestly

You can get at least 5 good mags before co2 drop off. When the pistol no longer blows back, you know you the co2 is getting low. Great gun for the price point and an excellent trainer for a real pistol.

Everything! Of all my CO2 guns, this one functions the best. Great fun. The usual Pyramyd fast shipping was great, too.

The little hole for loading BBs could stand to be a bit bigger.

I wanted to try a blowback 1911 style pistol for practice exercises in my garage "range' (I live in town) and this is perfect for me. the action is as expected and fits my belly band holster as well as my S&W 656. I would recommend this to anyone interested in cheap practice where full ammo use is restricted.

Maybe have the blowback feature a little heavier to replicate the actual action of regular ammo.

Wonderful blowback Co2 Airgun, smooth bore barrel, heavy metal slide, makes good use of cylinder gas without much waste, a stable 390ish FPS averaged, decent sites, and surely an accurate shooter.

Maybe I would like a larger capacity magazine and possibly different sites.

WELL WORTH fifty bucks..
