2 of 2 Hatsan Torpedo 150TH Air Rifle, Thumbhole Stock Reviews
Looks great, very POWERFUL for a springer It took me a while to site in the fiber optic sights to shoot accuratly at 30 yards but once I lifted it off of its bipod and held it with a military hold it made all the difference finally hitting center target. 50 yards and beyond you need a scope well after this thing destroyed 2 good airgun scopes I bought a leapers 4x16x44 swat scope with adjustable turrets leapers high rings took about 20 shots to sight it in only cause I wanted to see which pellet it liked best which was the h&n 10.34 grain baracuda hunter hollow points some reviews on this gun said they could not get this gun to group accuratly but Im getting 10 shot groups I can cover with a nickle from 50 yards. Its by far a gun that shoots good right out of the box but If you are determined to make it shine as I did It definatly will.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt should of come with a decent scope since it ruined 2 of mine;-) it should have came with a better bipod and at least a sling for 300.00
What Others Should Knowits a big heavy gun but can be tamed if shot properly dont grap it tight I put my elbows on the picnic table or kneeling put my elbow on my knee just lay the gun in my hand til I get the balanced weight aim and fire. I see all these company's copying the wrong spec's for this gun as 1000 fps when it is 1200 fps I get over 1400fps with pba ammo and with gamo ballistic tip pellets it shoots clean through 2x4's and nickles. I tried with my rws mod.48 1150 fps and my ruger air magnum 1200 fps they come close but no cigar the air magnum puts a bump on the other end of the 2x4 but not through it and almost through the nickle but not quite. so dont believe the 1000 fps false claims going around on this gun its a copied mistake.

Very Powerful! Good quality, heavy, substantial.
Things I Would Have ChangedChange the iron sights. The front sight is way too wide and so is the rear sight, You have to take the time to estimate where the center of the front sight is when viewing thru the rear sight.A thin blade in the front would be more helpful as well as reducing the size of the opening in the rear sight.
What Others Should KnowTakes about 60 lbs. of force to cock it. Quite a bit more than most. Its OK, its good exercise. In addition to cocking it, its also bolt action. The barrel attached to the bolt rotates within an outer barrel. I think its neat. Its also a springer with a medium recoil. If you are used to a gas cylinder with its milder recoil, youll have to adjust to it.
