My Husband liked my FX Yellow Jacket Crown Rifle so much that he bought the 'Black Pepper' one for himself. the 'feel' of the Air RIfle is great. When sighting in and firing a round it is like the FX Crown is an extension of your body. Makes plinking loads of fun! Hitting a pearl head pin at 25 yards is a, excuse the term, a BLAST!!

What Others Should KnowVery much worth the initial investment price. FX Crown Air Rifles hold up quite well. I have had my lil 'Bumble Bee' Crown Air Rifle for about 4 years now. Have not experienced anything major or even minor in that time.
EVERYTHING!!! It is surprisingly light...I didn't expect that. Both my S510 and Daystate Wolverine R are noticeably heavier than the MKII. Love the Black Pepper Laminate, the fit and finish, the trigger is excellent...a clear definite stop at the end of stage 1 and wonderfully crisp break at stage 2. It is probably heavier than most would like but I prefer a heavier trigger, so its perfect for me right out of the box. And after pairing it with the Arken SH-4 Gen II 6-24 it is a lethal rig!
Things I Would Have ChangedI can't come up with anything! Well, maybe the magazine...the S510's magazine is the best hands down (but at the cost of anti-double load). But still....
This is a beautiful gun, fits like a glove. excellent craftsmanship operates flawlessly. I have the .25 cal. and sighted it in at 35 yards,I have it topped with a Athlon 6x24x50 FFP scope. The gun took less than n 1 mag to get it sighted at 35 yds. moved out to 50 yds. and shot 2 groups of 10 through the same poll of less than 3/4 of an inch. Moved out to 100 yards and shot 2 more groups of 10 just over 1 1/4 inches. I known a calm day I can do better. I have 8 PCP air rifles my 2 Crowns are the most accurate, scary accurate. My next 1 will be a .30 cal.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing on the gun, it could be a little less pricy.
What Others Should KnowLike I said this is my second Crown the first has a telescoping shroud and is very quiet this one has a shroud and a moderator and is hands down quieter. I love this gun!
Pre ordered online, shipped 5 days later. Total adjustability of power. New rail system, removable moderator, new magazine loading procedure (easy), sturdy plastic case......Super well packaged
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing....maybe include an extra mag.. (for 2 grand ?)...

I bought this rifle July 30. I have a very powerful .357 Seneca Recluse, this and a .25 caliber Hatsan Neutron Star. I wanted something in the middle, a .30 caliber. I saw this FX, it's expensive, cost way more than my other rifles combined. It was advertised as shooting 44 grain pellets at 950 fps and making 90 fpe. But when I got it it was very weak, it made 65 fpe. My Hatsan made more. I sent it to the FX headquarters in North Carolina to see what they could do. They tightened the hammer spring. So now it made 72, I want 90. So I send it to Utah Airguns. I understand Utah assumed control of the FX USA. I told them I wanted it as powerful as they could make it. And they did. It exceeded my expectations. They installed a slug power kit. It replaces the hammer and hammer spring. Now my Crown makes 108.2 fpe at 932 fps.Using 56 grain .30 cal pellets. What once was.dog is now a bear. So, if anybody wants a very powerful .30 caliber, pony up the over $2200 and get yourself a beast.

What Others Should KnowThese rifles are very well made. For what they ask for them they better be. Easy to cock, adjustable for different types of use. They look like my Hatsan Neutron Star, a real beauty. And they're light in weight. My Star weighs well over 8 pounds. My FX, just under 7.
