this is my first pcp, I really like how lite this rifle is about 6 pounds with the scope, purchased the bundle deal, thats the way to go...I also like that its a repeater with 10 shots ! I started shooting a diana model 34 in 1991 wore it out and rebuilt it 3 times, then a benjamin trail 2 nitro,(which is starting to collect dust now) both great rifles...BUT I really fell in love with the fortitude pcp repeater...
Things I Would Have Changedcan't think of anything...
What Others Should Knowthis rifle is shooting group of 10 with the scope from the bundle deal 4x16x40 at 30 yards from 5/8 inch to 1/ 1/4 inch...WOW!!! love it...
This was a well thought out, value oriented rifle that i suggest anyone to buy. quiet as a mouse, most the time the round hitting the steels down range where quieter than the shot. put some jsb pellets in the mag and hit what your aiming at, that easy.
Things I Would Have Changedthe barrel is a floating barrel it would be nice if the barrel strap that came on it was used to keep the barrel from clanking around. i used a small hard clear gel pad to keep it quiet.
Leaked something fierce. Never got to fire a shot.
Things I Would Have ChangedSave your money
What Others Should KnowI am sure they dont all leak but mine did which is disappointing.
Action and trigger are excellent at this price point. Very quiet, pleasant to shoot.
Things I Would Have ChangedFinish of metal and fit of gun to stock are terrible. Inexcusably bad. I'm working on bedding the gas tube to the stock now.
What Others Should KnowStill breaking in the regulator, but I'm consistently grouping under an inch at 50 yards. All in all, I'm happy.
All came as expected. Great Air Gun. I have both this air gun and the original one which I bought 4 years ago. Both very accurate. 1 inch pattern up to 150 ft. with hollow points.
Very light. And very quiet. Actually the quietest air gun I have ever owned. (I have owned a lot) power on the factory setting seems great. I do not plan on changing it from the factory setting. Over all I like this gun a lot. The stock is plastic. Yes it may feel cheap. I see someone else commented about the hollow plastic stock ringing in there ears. There is absolutely no ringing. Or echoing noise emanating from the plastic stock. The included CP scope and rings are great. I have only shot about 200 pellets through it so far. Shot count is right around 90.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe trigger pull is absolutely horrible! And when I say horrible I mean it made the gun almost useless. It took so much to pull the trigger that it affected the accuracy. (Due to me having to squeeze so hard) It was hard/impossible to keep the gun still. A lighter trigger pull would make this a great gun. There are simple almost free mods to do yourself. And they work great!
What Others Should KnowWhen I received my fortitude it was covered in a nasty brown waxy material. I have bought plenty of air guns before. And never seen anything like this. At first glance I almost closed the box and sent it back on appearance alone. But it all came off with a lot of buffing. And plenty of elbow grease. As long as you don't mind voiding the warranty. And pulling it apart to change/adjust the springs. It's a great gun. If you want to enjoy it the way it comes out of the box. Good luck. Knowing what I know now. I would still not hesitate to purchase this again. The finish is not near as nice as the higher priced air guns like the Benjamin marauder. I could see how some people might be turned off of this gun if they don't expect to have to do any heavy cleaning or modding to it. Right out of the box.
Light, nice scope, super quiet.. shot 80 shots thru first fill American made.
Things I Would Have ChangedCheek pad. Little easier trigger. Should come with a second mag.
What Others Should KnowI was thoroughly impressed with my first pcp air gun!
Just got mine yesterday (6/11/19) put a few mags through it. It really likes the JSB 14.3 gr pellets. Incredibly quiet!!! This is my first PCP and I love it.
Things I Would Have ChangedTrigger pull is still on the heavy side but not bad. Wish the air cylinder was a touch longer. I just have to get a whip for my filling station.
What Others Should KnowCombo kit comes with high rise rings. I personally think they are too high for this gun. I have ordered medium and low rise to try out.

Great value on the combo with scope, sling, and pump, everything you need except pellets. Gun is light, easy to use, and shoots tight groups with the correct pellets. I got the .22 version, but would have liked .177 too. The gun is very quiet. Everything was delivered on time and packaged nice in one box.
Things I Would Have ChangedScope is cheap, but works fine for pellet guns. 2-7x or 3-9x would have been a better choice than 4-16x.
What Others Should KnowFortitude Gen 2 still takes some effort to pull the bolt back, and the trigger pull is stiff. Works fine for me, but a kid may have trouble loading pellets. With factory regulator setting (4 turns) gets about 50-60 shots between 3000 psi and 1000. The Marauder magazine is the same if you want to get extras, gun only comes with one. Does not shoot tight groups with Crossman hollow point pellets, gut great with HN Field Target Trophy. Takes some effort to pump to 3000 psi, but quick and easy via scuba tank. Came with extra set of scope mounts because the Centerpoint mounts do not fit. Also, I had to add a thin shim under the scope at the rear mount because initially the gun shot low with scope adjusted full up. Scope is cheap, illuminated but not needed and clear view from 4-10x. 16x is too much for shooting less than 100 yards anyway.
