The Hawke Sidewinder FFP 4-16x50 MIL is a First Focal Plane scope designed to provide scoped shooters with optics that can acquire targets at varied ranges quickly and accurately. Each Sidewinder FFP scopes features a 30mm mono-tube chassis built for superior strength that’s shockproof, waterproof, and nitrogen purged for a scope ready for any weather conditions. With its 4-16x magnification and large 50mm objective lens the Sidewinder FFP uses fully multi-coated optics to provide superior clarity when you zero in on target. Each scope uses an illuminated glass etched reticle with red and green illumination to easily see your target against any backdrop.

The FFP, it makes the reticle so I Can see it. PAwas serious about the 4 day shipping.
Things I Would Have ChangedTurrent clicks are mushy, it is heavy, make adjusting flip up caps easier. Make the manual bigger so poor vision folks can read it.
What Others Should KnowI am a low vision person, with other scopes I have trouble seeing reticle, with this scope my groups improved dramatically. I can cut a bullet hole into 4 quarters and stack pellets. I plan on using it to test different tunes in my Bulldog and prod and whatever comes my way.
I put this in UTG lever mounts so it is easily shifted from gun to gun, did I mention that it is a reticle I can see and use! if I never use the mil to range or for holdover, I would buy it for the ffp feature because of how it enlarges the reticle and makes it possible for this old guy to see and shoot once again. If your central vision is gone, buy this scope crank it up and you will love it.
