I will be honest. I thought it was junk until I read the first good review. I could not get it to work. But it was so simple. Just putting the reader into my phone did not work. When I put the card into the reader then the reader into my phone I brought down notifications and there it was. I opened the SD card and could see all of my pics.
Bought this several years ago and has always worked great. Made checking cameras quick and easy. But recently had to replace my phone which now uses the USB-C port so this reader is no longer compatible with my new phone. Would love to see WildGame Innovations make one with the USB-C port since all the newer phones are going to those!
Don't give up. I was about to install the app but decided to check the card reader reviews first. Glad I did. I have a Samsung j7. Basic Cheapo. 7yrs old. It took a while to figure it out, but I got. And I am far from a techie. Device maintenance/storage/etc is where I made it happen.
This works better than a reader with display but the adapter sleeve came off and won't go back on. Still works but fragile now. Can I get a replacement?
I bought this two years ago and still going strong. Its small and very convenient in the field. A must have to review trail camera pictures. It would be nice to have a USC C adapter with this.

Worked once and never again. Does not recognize any pictures on the SD card even tho the camera says they're on there, and it's a wild game camera too....
The website says it is compatable with USB-C or micro USB. Cannot be compatable with both unless an adaptis is provides which one is not. It is actually a USB-C which most all new smart phones are using. Used an older phone with USB-A and downliaded the app. The app would mot recognize the connected adapter. A waste of money. Do Not Purchase. I will be returning my to Bass Pro Shops.

Works great. I like the way it works plug and play with android phone no issues. Would like to purchase an adapter that connects the reader to the phone. lost one of those little buggers cant find that little adapter any where.
