Vortex Torque Wrench

Purchased and used the product on various firearms to either repair or mount rifle scopes. The positive areas of this product are the fit and finish were excellent, handle circumference and texture fill the hand comfortably and grip is easy to maintain. The bits seem of good quality and have not damaged repair areas or stripped out at the tip. The lifetime Vortex warranty applies to their torque wrench. The wrench does not have a clear audible detent and click when a torque value is reached. Instead it ratchets past the desired torque point, as if it has slipped off the work point. Lastly, the font size for on the outer ring is used to set torque is quite small, and consequently very challenging to read make quick adjustments.

Exactly what I needed! Took a bit to figure out how to lock the bits and drivers in but I got it!

Great product! But, I hate the tube container. Zippered pouch would have been MUCH BETTER.

This little torque driver set has everything you will need to set up your sights or optics. The grip feels great in my hand and is very grippy; your hand will not slip! The overall quality of this set is apparent in feel and use. You can feel the quality of materials in the weight of this little driver, and the setting dial feels butter smooth and locks securely, and the bits lock in tightly. If you're deciding between this and Real Avid's correlate, pay the extra money for this Vortex driver! A friend of mine has the Real Avid, and the torque-setting dial is right up on the handle, making it difficult even to use the driver without accidently changing the torque setting! This Vortex Torque Wrench will give you none of that nonsense, due to the superior design of having a locking collar up on the shaft.

Ball retention system is worthless and for the price should be able to have them made with a bit higher "# values 60-70"#? Seems to be quality product other than the worthless bit retention system!!
