The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x50 SFP Riflescope with Straight-Wall BDC MOA reticle is engineered to provide superior value at a reasonable price for hunting success. It has a 50mm objective lens that delivers crisp and bright images, and a 1-inch one-piece tube constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum for longevity and reliability.
This scope features capped turrets with a resettable zero, and both the windage and elevation turrets offer an adjustment range of 60 MOA, with 1/4 MOA adjustment increments and 15 MOA per turret revolution. In addition, the scope is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for improved waterproofing and fogproofing, and uses fully-multicoated lenses that help to avoid unwanted distractions.
This model of the Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x50 uses a Straight-Wall BDC MOA, an SFP (second focal plane) reticle that enhances accuracy at longer distances. I’ve had it on my rifle about a year and when I first got it mounted it was the best scope. Now when it starts to get dark but can still see out of another scope. But this vortex is hazy and just junk. I won’t be buying another one.
I put this on my Savage 350 Legend and it was lights out last deer season. I fired three shots at three deer and had three heart shots. At 100 yards I’m getting sub MOA accuracy. It’s a great scope at any price. I put a second one on my AR platform 350 Legend and I’m getting the same accuracy. Great scopes.
I bought this recently from a local retailer and just had the chance to get it sighted in. Once getting it dialed in, I tried it at 150 and 200. (The max range I was able to shoot where I was) At 200 I had 3 shots practically touching each other an inch off the center of the bullseye. Remember as with all scopes with a bullet drop reticle, you need to be very precise at 100 in order to have your other marks hit where you want at the longer ranges. Alot of people don't have the patience to do this, but being an inch off at 100 translates to much more at 200 and beyond. If you take your time and are precise sighting in, you will be very happy with this scope. Very clear glass and bright picture. This is a great scope.
Just received my new scope yesterday. Mounted it to a Radical Arms 450 bushmaster. Overall it adjusted great and didnt take to long to sight in. Clarity is really good, but will know more when I actually take it hunting as that was what I bought it for. The only complaint I have is the adjustments are not very crisp and kinda mushy.

The young'n who said this scope is dark and "just junk" likely has it set on highest magnification and doesn't understand physics/optics - the higher you magnify, the dimmer the light gets. That's why you need larger objective lenses - for light gathering. No effort to reach out to Vortex? Useless review. Normally I pay attention to less than stellar reviews, just not from clueless individuals.
