Change the description on the website because of the following. This riser will only work as a single scope ring riser. It will not fit under a rail, because the Picatinny lugs on each end are too wide. They will not work end to end because of this. Also on the two I got, one of the slide stops on the bottom was .009 inch too wide and would not fit into Picatinny rail on the rifle. I also checked them on another rifle to conform the misfit.

Great idea but poorly executed!

Light weight, but plenty strong enough to keep the sight/scope in place without moving. While I haven't done any real torture testing, one of my cats did knock a rifle over with a somewhat large scope on it. No change in the point of aim. I have a few of the UTG risers. I also have a few "other" risers. I've been buying the UTG risers to replace my "other" risers, because the "other" risers weight and bulk. There's no reason to have big heavy round knobs sticking out, or weighing so much.

Maybe make some Quick Disconnect with the same design attitude in mind as the rest of the riser, that is strong but unobtrusive.

I've seen where some folks really crank down on the screws to tighten them in place. There is no reason to use such force.

Nothing the mounts do not mount to my Air arms Galahad that supposedly has a picatinny rail on it

The tech department at Pyramyd Air

I tried contacting pyramyd air a few times to speak with a tech to make sure the Galahad I purchased from them actually has a picatinny rail. I left a message with my contact # and have not heard from them in weeks. I have tried several times to contact the tech department with no prevail

These risers are very well made and very rugged and work awesome on my new Benjamin Armada , love them looking so very tactical and a perfect fit.

Buy them , you will love the look on your tactical rifle.

The size, height and solidity makes them very sturdy. The clamping system is a good design, and they stay where you put them.

If I were to make one improvement it would be to design a spring-loaded type clamping system instead of the way they are.

They're sold as a single item, so if you're going to use them, you have to buy two.

This riser was just what the doctor ordered , because I could not get a proper eye weld with high rings on my Kral puncher. Now the sight picture is perfect

You will need these risers unless you can find extra high rings for the Kral puncher silent marine as the mounting rail is too low. Pyramyd air sells these as a single piece, not a pair so you will need to order two.
