Umarex Zelos PCP Air Rifle

The gun is extremely accurate. It is set at 2400 psi from the factory on the regulator and shoots 18+ grain diabolo pellets extremely well at high speeds. Well made gun that shoots two magazines for me before refill. I like the higher than advertised pressure

It arrived without any magazines in the new box which is supposed to contain two with it. I have requested them from Pyramid but have had no response so far so shot with the extra one I bought from them. Pyramid has been very slow to respond. The gun barrel needed internal cleaning which I did and the absence of the magazines puts a hole in the German efficiency legend but once I put a tko moderator and a scope on it, got the extra mag I paid for it shoots well. A mixed bag because they did not include the required magazines in the new, arrived in good shape box.

Once you finally get the complete kit the gun shoots extremely well.

It is very accurate! I shot a 13/32nd inch group at 50 yds, that's under a dime, I am very satisfied! I shot that group with JSB Jumbo Heavy Diabolo .22 18.13gr using a $79 BSA Outlook scope. I am going to upgrade my optic, so maybe I can shoot smaller groups. This gun shoots very fast! I very sizable difference from my Gamo Gen3i. That one shoots an average of 690fps. I don't know this one's, but it is fast, powerful, and accurate! I shot a 2 inch target at 75 yds and a crosswind of 15mph with a one mil holdover second shot, using the side of a tree to stable myself. I can't wait to take this thing squirrel hunting! The trigger is nicer than all of my other guns!

Where the grip meets the trigger guard, it hurts your hand when you carry it for long distances. The accessory rail moves the air cylinder, so it is not good for almost anything. *it falls of regulator.

If you think that $600 dollars is a lot for an air gun, think again. This gun is crazy nice! I don't like the fact that it is made in china, and, though I already knew otherwise, that they advertise on the box that it is semi-auto. It doesn't take too much research on your own product to know that it is not semi-automatic! This gun is not pellet picky at all in my experience, although it does not like Red Fire at 50yds. It gets OK groups at 40yds with H&N 40gr slugs, same with Terminators, Hornets, and Hades. It is heavy for long treks, I wish they had sling swivels, though I have no clue where they would put them. I don't have a chronograph, so I won't mess with the hammer spring or the regulator, but the regulator is set at around 1,600psi. I would feel comfortable taking out coyotes and foxes out to 50yds. I think that the mag is a little narrow, I don't know yet, but it may not be able to hold long rounds, it barely holds H&N Hornets. I get 2 1/2 to 3 mags before *

I like the light weight feel of the Zelos with the ability to pack a punch of a heavier more expensive gun. Super accurate with whatever lead I put through it with enough power to take down adult coyotes past 50 yds! Love it paired with Athlon argos gen 2/ .25 hades killer combo

Maybe a larger carbon air tank

Dont believe the naysayers this gun is a lighter m4! I would buy it over again if I had to choose. Pyramid air has been nothing but helpful and great to deal with.

I have to agree with everyone else. This thing rocks, go ahead and buy one. You're not gonna regret it. I put a bottle on mine and got it dialed in with jsb 33.95 and it's a tack driver at around 867fps.

Wow would have never bought my fx if this gun was out at the time. Not pellit picky and shoots the brimstone slugs great to. Loves jsb 33.95 and jsb25.39. One raged hole at 35 yards. Came set at 2400 psi lowered to 1800. 798 fps to 803 fps to hole mags and still not falling off reg. Great work Umarex. Will be turning up and stretching it's legs only 25 degrees in ohio.

The Zelos came in very light, even after I mounted the scope. I shot the Zelos to sight in the scope and once sighted in the Zelos was shooting very tight groups. I like the smooth action, the trigger is very nice and the overall appearance is very good. Overall I am very satisfied with the Zelos and its accuracy.

After thinking a bit, I cannot come up with anything to change. The Zelos comes in at an attractive price, superior accuracy and an action that is smooth as butter.

As with all new products, there is always some uncertainty in the decision process. After reading reviews from many sources, Umarex comes in as a very reliable manufacturer and the Zelos has gained many nods from top reviewers. I think anyone considering the Zelos should feel very comfortable that their money is buying a quality air gun.
