This is easier to load than some other magazines, due to being able to lock the spring while loading with bbs

What Others Should KnowTake your time when loading with bbs. Use Umarex bbs like others have recommended
Spring lock for ease of loading. Improvement over the magazine that origionally came with.

These mags are SOLID! They feed flawlessly and seal up great.
Things I Would Have ChangedNot a whole lot. Only make the surface of the follower about .050" higher so it's easier to hold with your thumb while loading up.

Solid build, seals up great, and functions flawlessly.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe same complaint as everyone else....the follower can easily slip out from underneath your finger while loading. Make the follower protrude an additional .050" or allow it to rotate to left or right position and lock once it's in it's lowest position.
What Others Should KnowThe M1A1 is a bb-spittin' beast. The gun itself and the replacement mag have both proven reliable so far.
This item was purchased as a second "bb" clip for m1a1 gun.
Things I Would Have ChangedPROVIDE CLIP AND GUN THAT COULD HANDLE .177 "PELLETS" OR EVEN BETTER .22 "PELLETS".
What Others Should KnowTHE WEIGHT APPEARS TO BE CLOSE TO THE "REAL" THOMPSON" AND IF YOU HAD TO CARRY THAT FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME, YOU NEED A STRAP AND BRACKETS ON THE GUN!.

Excellent addition to the M1A1. The gun is so much fun to shoot you will need at least one extra magazine. The magazine works as advertised and is flawless in function.
