I have been shooting a hook style release for many years and absolutely love the style. It so much easier hooking into you D-loop especially in hunting situations compared to a jaw type release. The Drawpoint is very adjustable and smooth. I like how the head rotates and does not bind up my string. The leather wrist strap is a must. I never liked velcro. The leather allows me to secure the release in the same position every time. In archery it is all about consistency. I love this release.
The DrawPoint is a very well made release. The materials feel durable and the hook style release that is attached to the pivot allows for some forgiveness during your draw to improve accuracy with every shot! I love it!
At first when I got this release, I was skeptical of not having a fully closed set of jaws on the release when drawing back. After shooting a few times, I quickly became extremely confident and enjoyed the features of this release. Being able to adjust the length of the release has been super helpful for increasing consistency in my groups. The option to rotate the release when you are not shooting, makes wearing it while hunting seamless. I do not have to worry about it getting in the way, or missing an opportunity because I did not have my release on.

I bought this because i perfer hook style over a jaw release, this release is adjustable in customize the release to your trigger finger, the strap is very comfortable even during hot 3D shoots it didnt bother me one bit.
