Holder works great. Really like it but it has one major flaw. The teeth that keep the holder in place strip very easily allowing your bow to fall. Beware!
I have procrastinated for the last few years and finally made the purchase to acquire this bow holder.......lets just say I should already have had one of these. Life just moved up a notch for me!!
This is the Third summit climber I’ve bought. Summit makes the best climbing stand in my opinion. It’s the only climber I’ll own.
I have one on my other summit treestand and I wouldn’t go without it, great product
It will do its job and it is nice to have. The biggest problems is 1) make sure you find the side with teeth to install, 2) it is still prone to failure so watch your bow closely! There needs to be a locking mechanism on this that no matter what the holder itself doesn’t move unless you unlock it. That would make this a 5 star. I’ve added zip ties and lock tite and it helped.
Looks tuff great design. Haven't tried it on my stand yet but can't wait to try it out.
Bought this to use since I cannot screw hangers in the trees on WMA land. This hanger works great and saves time when mobile hunting because now I leave this attached to my stand.
I'm glad,I bought this. I've been laying my bow down across the front bar or leaning it in the seat, I'm kinda nervous using the bow holder but that will disappear.
I love about everything that summit makes, but this bow holder is absolute junk. I ordered this hoping that the few bad reviews were user error, but was disappointed to find the same problem as others have had. There are 12 teeth that hold the holder in position, and on the bow holder itself a nut with 6 sides holds it in place. This would work great if there were only 6 sides to the holder instead of 12, the more teeth you add, the less contact the nut has with the holder, so there is quite a bit of wiggle room to begin with which should not be the case. So before taking it up a tree I installed it to my viper, tightened it down as tight as I could get it to help reduce the amount of wobble it had. Put my bow on to test it, and it rounds out the teeth the moment I put it on there. I'm not knocking summit, but this design is very flawed and it is junk. Highly do not recommend. Very disappointed.

I tried to use the bow holder, gave it three tries. All failed. The holder does not grip the treestand and moves. Was unable to place bow in the holder at all.
