The Stoeger XM1 Bullshark PCP Air Rifle is a rare type of bullpup airgun because it has many adjustable features that deliver a customized experience. It is capable of velocities up to 910 FPS with .22 caliber lead pellets to provide ample power and accuracy for target shooting, pest control, and small-game hunting.
The synthetic all-weather bullpup stock includes a variety of interchangeable parts that deliver increased customization, including interchangeable cheekpieces, interchangeable textured grips to accommodate different hand sizes, and buttpad spacers that allow for different lengths of pull. In addition, this airgun includes a removable military-style vertical front grip for an added handling option.
The Stoeger XM1 Bullshark has an integrated moderator on the rifled barrel that leads to shots that are quieter than expected for an air rifle of this power level, and the two-stage trigger results in a crisp and sharp break. The stock features Pro Adaptive checkering in places such as the underside of the forearm and on the vertical front grip for a slip-free hold in any conditions.
In order to provide accurate sighting, this air rifle has a Picatinny optics rail for the convenient addition of a scope or other optic such as a dot sight, and it also uses removable Picatinny accessory rails on both sides of the stock for adding accessories such as lasers and flashlights, and storage for an additional magazine is included on one of the side rails for convenience.

Things I Would Have ChangedThe fill port cover, when you pull it up to insert the probe it could interfere with a moderator. This is not a show stopper, just get a tapered one and problem solved.
What Others Should KnowWith the .22 Hades pellets, I get consistently 5 shot groups covered with a dime at 50 yards and 30fpe to boot.
Bought this 2 weeks ago and have over 500 rounds through it with absolutely no issues. Bought it for 50ft standing rifle competition at work and needed something light I could shoot standing. I am holding my own against some expensive 22lr rifles. Stacks pellets when I do my part.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
I bought my Bullshark before they were available on this site and have spent significant time with it. I believe it to be excellent value for the price point as it has proven very accurate and powerful, straight from the box, with every pellet I've fed it thus far. It has pushed 15.89 gr JSB domed and Hades in 11 and 10 shot strings at averages of 880 and 850 fps respectively. The 18.13 JSB left the muzzle at 830 fps on average. 14.3 gr Crosman Premier HP launched in the 890 to 920 fps range.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would have preferred a lighter overall weight as offered on this nearly identical gun which carries a different name badge.
What Others Should KnowAfter approximately 200 shots, the gun failed to cock but thankfully, Stoeger Industries has posted a trigger adjustment video and following those instructions to add a little pull weight to the second stage solved the problem. It was only necessary to visit stoegerindustries.com to locate the video.
Most comfortable PCP that I have to shoot! Extremely accurate. Very tight standard deviation (velocity shot-to-shot), More than 60 shots per fill. Reliable. I have one in each caliber, .177, .22 and .25. Length of pull and cheek piece are adjustable. Externally adjustable hammer spring. Regulated. (U can adjust regulator IF you want to take it out of air cylinder to adjust, experienced PCPers only). Adjustable trigger.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt uses a fill probe and most people would prefer a Foster Fitting to fill with air
What Others Should KnowGreat value and a great PCP airgun! Mine likes Baracuda Match pellets best but each gun may have a different favorite. FIVE YEAR WARRANTY. They (Stoeger) simply replace a gun that has a problem.
