4 of 4 Sig Sauer Crux Ballistic Alloy .22 (5.5mm) Cal Reviews
Very good accuracy and good fit in the breech of my HW97kt. I think the combination of big head and short skirt is what makes it so accurate. It seems to me that pellets with long skirts aren't as accurate but for some reason that's what a lot of pellet manufacturers seem to do- but what do I know?
Things I Would Have ChangedI'd like a heavier version.
What Others Should KnowThat they are worth trying.
Lead Free, Hard Hitting, Consistent Quality.
What Others Should KnowI normally shoot low powered air guns 10-40 yards. The Beeman AR2078A and Diana Chaser shoot great with these pellets at 10-20 yards.
They are light for my .22 Benj Marauder rifle. Wanted to try out something lightweight. VERY nice screw on lid for the tin. Accurate in the rifle. Haven't shot many of them yet.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe price. Pretty spendy at 0.11975 a pellet. $23.95 for tin of 200
What Others Should KnowThey do scream in my Marauder. A "fun" pellet to try out but just too expensive when other pellets will go almost as fast, hit harder and cost WAY less per pellet / tin. Was a fun "try out" though. Will test again when turning up the velocity.

I've compared these Sigs with other .22 lead free pellets from Pyramid (thanks for the good selection!), shot from a Seneca Dragonfly (pump) and a Diana Chaser (CO2) rifles. They tie in accuracy with Predator GTOs as the best shooting pellet. They also load easily and very consistently and so must be very even in size.
Things I Would Have ChangedWell, they are the most expensive of the "normal" diabolo lead free pellets. If they were cheaper I'd buy more of them, but since they really do shoot well I at least buy some.
What Others Should Know- These seem smaller in diameter than the Gamo pellet line, which don't fit the breech of my rifles.
- I did the math and decided to avoid lead, for one more environmental hazard out of my life. But since lead free pellets are lighter, and don't impact energy into the target as much as lead, for pest control I'm thinking I need to go up a caliber to hit as hard. So I'd consider lead free .22 more comparable with lead .177, than with lead .22.
