Any great success is built upon a strong foundation, and the new BE:1 Blackout Trek Base series is built to offer defense against two of the biggest obstacles in whitetail hunting: sight and smell. The Trek series utilizes fine Merino Wool bonded with Carbon Alloy for unprecedented odor protection, our Silver Alloy treatment to defend against bacterial growth, and our Fusix technology treatment for additional odor adsorption. Blackout fabric paired with muted logos offers concealment when hunting from pop-up or box blinds. Designed with a focus on fit with a four-way stretch fabric, the Trek series is the perfect building block for the BE:1 series.

I love these for mid season. They fit perfect and keep you warm on those chilly afternoons. I wish there was a base layer for late season.

Well made can hold them and tell they going to be warm.
Love these in mid and late season. These run true to size and are warm enough to be the base layer when it’s 40 - 60. Can be a mid layer or base layer in colder weather under the divergent. Merino with carbon alloy is a basically a ghost to a deers nose even after several days of use.
Extremely comfortable. Great base layer. Warm, but can still be used in early season.

Very nice base layer. Better than the fleece as it has more stretch and freedom of movement. Very soft. I still think all of the base bottoms should come with a drawstring so that you could ozone them. I destroyed the elastic on a lightweight fleece baselayer. These are too expensive to risk it. I only refresh them in the dryer but feel for at a premium price a draw string is needed. I hope SL keeps the merino line forever. I will definitely be buying more.

Everything about these worked great first time I used second time all the stitching around the waste was coming undone and now it’s completely screwed up and loose. I have had a lot of scent lok material start to lose stitching they need to figure this out cause it’s way to much money to have this happen after one two uses!!!
