What Others Should KnowWhat an amazing bb blaster. The fire rate on the Thompson is ridiculously fast/awesome! I'm able to hit dead center on beer cans at close to medium range and it hits surprisingly close to p.o.a. without adjustable sights. I have put thousands upon thousands of bbs through mine, and the only malfunction has been the bolt stop lever's resting point on the slide. The slide is soft pot metal and I wish there was a reinforced steel piece where the lever rested upon firing the last round. For as much fun as this crazy plinker has brought me, I'm not going to sweat it. I removed the lever and I just keep count of my shots/bursts as to not wase co2 on dry firing. Absolutely love it 3 years later.
LOTS OF FUN!! The full auto switch is the FUN switch! Very realistic looks and action. Even the plastic stock is almost as nice as real wood. You can't tell the stock is plastic until you tap on it. I think the stock is a better rendition than the stock on the Ledgends Cowboy Rifle. The M1A1 is much more accurate than I was expecting. The trigger is a little stiff but if you shoot full auto, I don't think it matters. I found a replica sling and magazine pouch on ebay and these items compliment the rifle and make it even more like WW2 weapon.

What Others Should KnowIf you use Crosman CO2 cartridges, you might need a spacer between them so both are pireced. I use a penny. Sometimes I put one full CO2 cartridge in and one empty one for shorter shooting sessions. Stock up on CO2 and BBs you go through them fast.
they call this bb gun the type writer for a reason!! this fun is very accurate i’d recommend usuing the Hornady.177 black steel bbs they work %100 great with the tommy gun i can write all day long on how awesome this bb gun is i highly recommend getting this gun!!! shoots very accurate in full auto mode you can see the bbs following each other straight as can be never seen one bb go off out the line of others!! if i could give this bb gun 10 star i would

What Others Should KnowWhat everyone should know is that this gun is really just a piece of overpriced JUNK by Umarex. Umarex customer reps are very rude and unhelpful. It is my theory that this gun produces so much "torque" on full auto that it will literally bend the inner barrel, (which is just a cheap aluminum tube). The aluminum inner barrel is only supported by the breech seal and a small plastic carrier grommet at the end of the barrel, the rest is just "hanging in the air inside the outer barrel". I am in the process of repairing my Thompson. First, I had to straighten my inner barrel. Then I put rubber support grommets all along the barrel inside the outer barrel, then I filled all of the "open space" with FlexSeal. I haven't finished it yet, but I know that when I fire it on semi or full auto the inner barrel is not going to move or bend. I have been trying for quite a long time to get an inner barrel made out of stainless steel. That would solve a lot of problems. Very inaccurate ! Barrel moveme
