10 of 11 Kral Arms Puncher Knight Walnut Reviews
Excellent shot count for a non-regulated pcp. Love the walnut stock. Shots stack reliably between 10-50yds (I use it for dairy barn pest control.) Trigger is surprisingly good.
Things I Would Have ChangedGrip is a bit thick. Forearm picatinny rail is lacking. Some areas on the gun could use better quality control from factory.
What Others Should KnowThe walnut stock is gorgeous. Adding a few extra coats of gun stock oil will darken the tone and add additional protection.
Swapping the aluminum bottle for a carbon fiber is a must sometime down the road. I replaced mine with a 480cc and didn't notice loss in shot count. 48 shots before I top off the bottle. Carbon Fiber bottle, it'll lighten the gun and help reduce the "pingggg" vibration when the gun is fired. I'm running a Donny Ronin on mine. This brings it down to backyard friendly. Overall, I'm really pleased. I do have an FX Impact M3 and Brocock here as well. I find myself grabbing the Kral more often than the other two choices. Quick, easy, and accurate for pest control.
Looks and accuracy /power
Things I Would Have ChangedAll great for me no change
What Others Should KnowMay be a bit heavy
Good power and accuracy right out of the box. I got it in .25 cal to dispatch iguanas, one well place shot makes quick work of them.
Things I Would Have ChangedFill port sticks out of the side with no cover. If you lay it on the ground it is bound to pickup some dirt. Add a second screw to the picatinny rail and stock to firm the action.
What Others Should KnowGreat value, bang for the buck. It does not have the refinements of an FX or Daystate but if you tune it will work even better.
insane power ( .25 ) , who doesn't like that , consistant groups , gauge on the side , trigger , balance , scope rail , lever action , and over all appearance ( needs clear or rub on the stock ) , awesome gun for the money !!!
Things I Would Have Changedchange from 1 bolt to 2 in the fore-arm rail installation . 1 bolt is not enough to hold a bi-pod !!! add clear coat to the stock . inspect stock , seems loose out of the box .
What Others Should Knowthis gun is huge , do not expect a compact , extreme power , at 40 + yards grouping the size of a dime ( EXACT KING .25 DIABOLO ammo ) ( VORTEX TACTICAL scope ) , w/bipod . I shoot from cover so this gun is extremely loud . my stock was loose out of the box , others may vary .
I have the wood version .22 cal. The quality and build of the rifle is excellent! It is very accurate and the power is adjustable which to me is a big deal. The trigger has a very distinctive 1st stage pull that stops firmly and the 2nd stage is crisp. My rifle likes the H&N Trophy 14.66gr, JSB 18.13gr and was accurate at 70 yards this past weekend using the JSB Monster 25.39gr. The weight does not bother me since I mostly use it as a bench rifle. Oh, yeah, 250 bar... nice! I fill to 230ish bar and can shoot to 170 bar. I know I have more air to shoot with but not a problem since air source for me is not an issue.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe only con I had was the bark... and it barks! Stock, it is just short of sounding like a .22LR.
What Others Should KnowI have compared this Knight side by side with the failed Hatsan Airmax I had to return due to poor air system. If the Airmax is the standard for $679 air rifles, then the Knight should have cost hundreds more. The Knight has been flawless to me since I received it. It is a nice clean design from front to back.
The side lever was a bit stiff but continues to get smoother as I break it in.

The trigger has a very distinctive 1st stage pull that stops firmly and the 2nd stage is crisp. My rifle likes the H&N Trophy 14.66gr, JSB 18.13gr and was deadly accurate at 70 yards this past weekend using the JSB Monster 25.39gr. The weight does not bother me since I mostly use it as a bench rifle but have gone out with it for hunting recently and its fine. Oh, yeah, 250 bar... nice! Things I Would Have ChangedThe only con I had was the bark... and it barks! The DonnyFL .25 cal version of the Ronin model that I just put on it this past Saturday tamed this beast pleasantly! Like a rat fart lol. I highly recommend the Knight.

Ergonomically pleasing with nice hand grip and became very accurate after a few shots down range with the Baracuda 21.14gr/.22 pellet. Large capacity bottle. Ability to change barrels ,
Things I Would Have ChangedThe bipod picatinny rail really needs to be attached with two screws not one as it becomes loose and turns with my bipod attached. The side filling point should have a small plastic captive dust cap installed by Kral.
What Others Should KnowI installed the SUMO moderator from DonnyFL which made the rifle a real pleasure to shoot. I purchased from Pryamyd Air via Amazon. Will update as I gain more experience with the Knight.
Great design. like the large bottle and the ability to change calibers. Seems well built. Accurate
Things I Would Have ChangedScope rail higher. Better mounting of Bipod mount. Single load tray with each caliber ordered. Better owners manual
What Others Should KnowGreat value for the price.
Extremely accurate, ten shots in one quarter inch hole at 35 45 yards and as good or more accurate as my bantom, the shot count is great and the ergonomics and hand hold is very good best and most accurate gun I have! It easily outperformed all my $1,500 + dollar guns just add a silencer and it is unbeatable, though it is more of a bench rest shooter because of weight ,a heavy gun. You will be amazed at accuracy!
Things I Would Have ChangedWeight , fiber bottle but cost would have effect other than how much it weighs it is the best for the money
What Others Should KnowIt is a shooter buy it! If you want accuracy repeatable point of impact this is your gun I have taken squirrels at 100 plus yards and thats repetitive not luck shots. Great bench gun

I couldn't be happier with this gun. It is an absolute Lazer! The fit & finish are great and the stock on this one is amazing!
Things I Would Have ChangedThe only thing is that I wish the trigger could be lightened up a little more without modification. There are some good insights about this subject online so if you don't mind tinkering than this is not a problem. The trigger is adjustable down to about 2.5 pounds so it isn't a beast by any means. I just like mine a little lighter.
What Others Should KnowI personally feel you can't get a better gun for the price. Definitely pull the trigger on this one.
