Description
Building on the success the Barrage and Bullmaster semi-auto air rifles, meet Hatsan's first semi-auto PCP air pistol--the Sortie. Sure to satisfy lovers of backyard target shooting and small game hunting, the Sortie lets you take shot after shot as fast as you can pull the trigger. Now Hatsan has released the Hatsan Sortie Tact giving you everything you loved about the Sortie, with the stabilization of a removable folding stock.
Featuring a 62cc cylinder that’s simple to fill with a handpump, you can sling lead downrange at speeds up to 750 fps (650 in .22). To take advantage of this pistol’s repeating shots, Hatsan included 3 magazines (10 in .25, 12 in .22 and .14 in .177).
With the Sortie, you can keep your shots on target with the detachable fiber-optic sights, or use the combo Dovetail/Picatinny optics rail—a rail that deserves a red-dot for fast sighting and shooting. The ergonomic synthetic grip gives the Sortie full-weather capability, and ready to toss into the back of a hiking bag when not stored in the included hard case.
If you’ve longed for a versatile PCP air pistol that can shoot shot after shot, grab a Sortie and become the fastest air pistoleer on the range.

Love the design, feel, and weight. For the .25 it is pretty powerful and packs a nice punch. Magazines are easy to load and three are included. Pretty darn accurate right out of the box. All around fun to shoot.
Things I Would Have ChangedWould have liked to have a gun at this price point not leak! Paid for the 10 for $10. Shouldn't have had to pay for a leak test on a brand new gun of this price range. Very disappointed in that aspect. Did not bother contacting PA to have to deal with sending it back. Holds long enough to shoot but will not hold anything significant over 48 hours.
What Others Should KnowOther than the leak issue, I would definitely buy it again. The case the gun arrived in was covered in oil and the Hatsan label was saturated in oil as well. Other than that, get yourself one, pay for the tests, and have fun!

Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowI recommend it,
Semi auto action is fun
Things I Would Have ChangedThe fill port on the gun is a little strange
What Others Should KnowGood value for what you get
Good power in 25 for the price. Love that it comes with the carry case and has room inside for the gun, stock, mags, and some tins of ammo. The design and build of the gun is easy to work on and adjust if you have some basic knowledge of guns or can follow a you tube video. Cycles and hits good when tuned right. Has plenty of potential to upgrade with attachments and sights. Stock is sturdy enough and functional. Support was outstanding when I needed replacement parts, I filled out a form that asked me my problem and asked me my level of skill with these guns and treated me at my skill level and didn't ask me a million questions or even ask me to send the gun in. I was shocked to see the first reply I got back offered me the exactly what I needed and mailed me the parts I asked for. They actually support and sell replacement parts for their products and treat their customers right. Outstanding support received for an experienced user.
Things I Would Have ChangedSeems like its common for the mags and gun to not be perfectly tuned out of the box and may need some adjustment. Maybe a larger air cylinder variant with higher base power. Overall nothing to really complain about after everything was all said and done. Bit rough at the beginning but with how good the process of fixing and making the gun even better was it heavily outweighs the rough beginning. I guess if you are expecting it to shoot perfect right out of the box you may be disappointed. If you don't want to ever take this thing apart this is probably not the one for you
What Others Should KnowI got a 25cal Sortie back in 2019 and ended up not shooting it very much and the first few mags worked but then it started to act up. Before writing this off as a bad review keep reading. I was frustrated and put it to the side for awhile and recently came back to it. At this point I was outside of warranty so I figured F it and took it apart. It was simple to take the stock off and I found my culprit being the hammer spring got deformed. I contacted support and they sold me a replacement spring with no questions or hassle and my gun is fully functional now. I am overall really happy with this gun especially for the price point and the ease to work on. Seems like out of the box they are not precisely tuned so results may vary, but it seems like majority of other peoples complaints pertain to simple things like magazine screw tension or needing to clean/lubricate parts. Amazing if you want budget friendly PCP pistol with a punch if you are okay with possibly needing to tune it yourself.
Came within good shipping time frame. Everything I expected from pyramyd air. Great service and trust worthy business.
Things I Would Have ChangedSights not sighted in. I wish it was just a bit more powerful say in the 750 fps range in .25
What Others Should KnowMake sure they treat your guns hold air with any of pyramyd's shot testing. Save yourself re shipping hassle.
I've had the pistol for 3 months now and it has been flawless. the semi-auto action is really smooth and gun will shoot as fast as I trigger. It is louder than my flashpup with silencer, but not too loud. I paid for Pyramid to shoot 10 pellets test run before shipping. The gun shoots straight right out of the box. I bought an extra red dot sight but haven't used it yet, the fibre optic sights on the Sortie work great and pistol is accurate to 40 yards once you learn to compensate for distance. the plastic case is excellent too. nice set of accessories came along. very powerful 0.25 cannon!
Things I Would Have Changedthe air tank runs down after 20 quick shots, but usable for another 10 if you adjust your sighting to compensate.
What Others Should KnowDon't use 0.25 magazines from Flashpup. use only the specific magazines even though they look exactly the same. the rifle magazine spring isn't quick enough and you can jam. this pistol action is fast!
Nice quality
Product quality is excellent!

I got a sortie in .177 and it's a fun plinker. I shoot in my back yard out my back door at about 50 feet and blast away at cans with crosman wadcutter pellets and it feeds just fine. I've put about 300 pellets through it so far and I checked it on my chronograph, it gets right around 800 fps every with 7.4 grain pellets. So far it's been a lot of fun and the only problem I had was a feeding problem one time and it was my fault, I put one pellet in backwards. I get two full magazines out of an air fill up for a total of 28 shots, I've tried doing a third mag and it only shoots a few then the pressure is too low. It's been good on holding an air charge with no leaking and I've had it for about 5 weeks now. The 50 ft accuracy with open sights is on the mark. The open sights could be better quality, but good for can plinking, It's fun to be able to shoot 14 rounds as fast as you can squeeze, double tap, triple tap. Overall I like it and have fun with it. 800 fps with a pretty short barrel
Things I Would Have ChangedThe one thing I would like is a bigger air tube. It comes with three magazines but 62 cc. Only makes it through two mags and when the weather was chilly, it didn't even finish the second one all the time.
What Others Should KnowIf you're looking for a semi-automatic pistol and don't mind the kinda futuristic funny looks of the sortie tact, it's been worth the cost to me, so far. Keep the sliding bolt mechanism oiled. I put a couple of small drops every 100-150 or so shots.
