Amazing accuracy
Things I Would Have ChangedWish I would have got it in 22 so keep that in mind if you’re like me coming from a centerfire rifle 177 are very tiny or remember to order a pallet pan
What Others Should KnowStock is going to feel hollow so it needs to be filled its extremely accurate out to 50 yards talk about 200 pallets to break in in came on the dry side lube before firing biggest warning at 18 yards three-quarter inch piece of pine it penetrated all the way through so they are extremely powerful Just a warning now for the trigger the trigger on mine arrived factory set at good enough With the conditions perfect Im able to hold 5 inch groups at 100m at 50m this rifle very easily holds 3/4 of an inch groups and thats awesome so my break down is If you want a rifle not straining the cock that has power that’s extremely accurate and seems to be very well-built I would be hard-pressed not to recommend this product it’s amazing
Just about everything
Things I Would Have ChangedTrigger take it from ok to good
What Others Should KnowExtremely accurate easy the cock
Is a is a good-looking gun
Things I Would Have ChangedThe gray rubber inserts make the grip too thick to grab you have to have very big hands. And it is very very hard to cock and the trigger feels like a cheap piece of tin. It has the worst trigger out of any of the guns that I own and I have 20.
What Others Should KnowI would not buy this gun again
Powerful accurate
Things I Would Have ChangedNoisy noisy like hammering on an anvil, its a springer
What Others Should KnowStick to you 22 and 900 fps from a nice Benji xl trail, beyond these it's pcp time if more power and accuracy is req
I have the beech stock version in .25 cal. The power is awesome and it shoots one-hole groups @ 10m.
Things I Would Have ChangedRear notch in fiber optic sight is too narrow, and front globe is too small. Front sight is not removable. Rear sight becomes loose at higher elevations.
What Others Should KnowYou will get a workout cocking this gun, but not as much as with the 135. Also, this gun weighs 2lb less. Not suitable for women or teens. Finish not as good as a Beeman. Knowing what I know now, I would try to get this rifle with the gas piston, walnut stock, and Quattro trigger.
Included scope is OK, but I installed a Beeman scope, which has correct parallax and is reinforced for the double recoil found on heavy springers. Center fire scopes don't work.
.177 in powerful airguns is not as efficient as the larger calibers.
very impressed my new favorite rifle
Things I Would Have Changednothing
What Others Should Knowhave a good backstop very powerful
amazing air rifle...solid gun.well built
Things I Would Have Changednotting to change
What Others Should Knowgo get it
Air gun is not too heavy which is what I needed and it looks good. Spring time is slow to arrive here and only had one time I could test fire the air gun. Which made a mess of a tin can. Now starting to warm up hope to get outside and shoot it more.
Things I Would Have ChangedMake a see through scope mount giving the shooter an option of which sight to use for whatever circumstance may arise.
What Others Should KnowIron sights are dead on. Scoped rifle was not too accurate. Air gun is tight and not loosen up yet. After I shoot more with the air rifle I am sure the scoped rifle will be much more accurate. I really like the air gun.
The .22 cal 1000S was my first introduction to the world of high powered air rifles. I purchased the rifle to inexpensively find out if hunting rabbits was a hobby I would like to further pursue. Hatsan, as a brand came highly recommended and for the price, the 1000S is a great value. Up to this point I could not be happier with every aspect of the rifle and have been successfully slaying rabbits since I got the rifle. I have yet to find a pellet inside a rabbit as they enter and exit completely. I rarely take shots over about 30 yards with Destroyers and this rifle gets the job done!
Things I Would Have ChangedThe rifle does have a very springy sound when fired and the trigger has plenty of creep but is at least adjustable. I never used the scope that came with the rifle but I should have bought a scope more powerful than 4 power magnification. I will buy at least a 12 power scope with an illuminated reticle. For the $95 price tag, I would change nothing about this rifle and will keep it for ease of use despite my intentions of purchasing a Benjamin Marauder pistol. Great doomsday rifle that puts food on the table.
What Others Should KnowThis is a great entry level rifle that comes from a reputable manufacturer. Don't be cheap with the optic you use, it makes the biggest difference. Don't be surprised by the presence of recoil from this rifle and a very "springy" sound when fired. I believe this rifle shoots 14.3 grain hollow points at around 650 FPS. This is plenty for small game at close ranges. After using this rifle for a season, I am going to upgrade to a .22 cal Benjamin Marauder pistol and tune it to shoot 14.3's at 720 FPS.

Everything
Things I Would Have ChangedAdd extra breach seals in the box
What Others Should KnowGreat product unfortunately my breach seal started going bad but thats just part of the hobby mine did not start really shooting took about 200 and tune in a tube is what I call minatory for the reason it seems to removed all the harmonics that causes poor accuracy my chronograph JBS 7.8 before averaged low 938 high 956 after low 942 high 946 that I believe makes a huge difference hope this helps and go ahead and order one of the long lasting aftermarket breech seals.
