Although these are lead-free pellets, the tape that goes around the tin has warnings about the hazards of lead exposure. Be assured that the contents of the tin are, indeed, lead-free. This is just the standard tape H&N uses on all its pellet tins.
Don't want lead pellets and shrapnel scattered around your house? Try these H&N Sport Field Target Trophy Green pellets. They're lead-free but made to the same high quality standards as other H&N ammo.

10 of 37 H&N Field Target Trophy Green .22 (5.5mm) Cal Reviews
Extremely lightweight pellets, only 9.57 grains for .22 caliber. (This page says 9.56 but the container says 9.57.) The light weight makes them fast even in weaker airguns (see below). No lead, of course, which means I don't worry about handling them or lead dust collecting in my rifle barrel or moderator. They are harder than lead so every pellet in the can is perfectly uniform; no deformed skirts or random flyers. Terrific for target shooting and no worries about harming nature if some of them get past your target trap or if you're just shooting bottles and cans in the yard.
Things I Would Have ChangedI typically use either the Predator GTO Lead Free or the H&N Baracuda Green pellets, which weigh in at 11.75 and 12.96 grains, respectively. I actually ordered these lightweight Field Target Trophy Green pellets by mistake, thinking they were the Baracudas. I worried they would go supersonic in my Avenger which is tuned for the heavier pellets, but they didn't. There is nothing I would change about these pellets. They're a little shorter and rounder than the Baracuda Greens which have a longer, pointier head. At longer ranges, they seem slightly less accurate than their heavier relatives but at 35 yards or so they group nicely.
What Others Should KnowI compared the nearly 13 grain Baracuda Greens to these 9.5 grain FTT Greens in two of my air rifles. My Air Venturi Avenger is tuned to shoot the heavier pellets at 880 fps and has an SD of about 5 fps regulated at 1500 psi. It shot a mag of these lighter pellets at 965 fps with a SD of 2 fps. I also tried my Gamo Arrow (unregulated) .22 air rifle. It shoots the heavier Baracuda Greens at 750 fps with SD of 3 over the first 10 shots, while pushing out the light FTT Greens at an average of 840 fps, which I felt was pretty respectable for the Gamo Arrow. I use the Avenger to exterminate pests and just use the Arrow for plinking so I'm going to use these light pellets in the Arrow from now on and save the heavier ammo for the Avenger to get more FPE on the rats. Either way, I appreciate this ammo being offered by PyramydAIR.
Light weight.22 pellets
Things I Would Have ChangedPrice
What Others Should KnowExcellent pellets for pistols & medium power air rifles to get an extra 100fps out of the airgun. A bit too light for high powered air rifles; my Gamo Magnum was cracking like a .22 power- burner with these!
I like the description: dome, weight, and velocity, it shot well in my .22 caliber Umarex Octane, Benjamin Summit, and my Umarex Gauntlet-2 pcp.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing. I bought this pellet for its description.
What Others Should KnowI did a 3 shot chronograph shooting my .22 caliber Umarex Gauntlet-2. The results were: 1143, 1140, and 1140 fps. All shots fired broke the sound barrier. I shot a 6 shot accuracy test at 85 feet at a 12x10 box with a 3 inch Birchwood Casey stick on Target Spot. 5 out of 6 shots hit the 3 inch circle target. The 3rd shot barely missed. I had to approach the target to verify that it was a miss. No fliers. I recommend the .22 caliber pellet, and will purchase again. Get a chronograph. WoodysWorld.
Accurate , consistent size , no damaged pellets in tin
Things I Would Have ChangedThe weight
What Others Should KnowTried these in my gamo magnum ( I know for pcp )Shot 15 rounds and everyone of them cracked the sound barrier. GTO at 11.75 were no problem . Shot great in my Roger impact . Lower power rifles ok but not a magnum
This is a light weight pellet. I like its ease of use in a Benjamin Marauder Pistol, loads well into the magazine, not everything does. Very accurate in this Pistol At 766 fps, I got 6 rounds into a 0.5 inch group. This was shot from an initial pressure of 2700 psi.
Things I Would Have ChangedWould be nice if I could get lead free for a lower cost.
What Others Should KnowIf you break the speed of sound with these it does not work out so well. At that speed, heavier is better.
With my Walther Reign UXT .22 caliber, at 200 bar pressure I got a muzzle velocity of 1151 fps. At 20 yards I got a "real tight" 2.5 inches. If you want to shoot lead free from a more powerful rifle try the H&N Barracuda Green. At 200 Bar I got 1005 fps and a group size of .73 inches.
Nice clean pellet. Shot it out of my Benjiman Trail NpXl1100. It chronograph out at 1046fps on an average for 10 shots. It is not the most accurate in my gun. To fast actually. It was the most consistent with a standred deviation of 2
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowNice clean pellet but maybe to fast for best accuracy in a magnum .22 break barrel air rifle.
Increased FPS to flatten a trajectory. Good flight and consistent groups.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe composition is hard. Makes chambering difficult.
What Others Should KnowThe O.D. might work well in your breech, just tight in my HW barrel.
clean ammo ,well uniformed shoots really well with my gamo swarm maxxim and 2240XL+Tko @20 yards. excited to try these in my gamo swarm magnum g2 will give a better update when i purchase a chorno

Uniform in size and shape: like most H&N pellets, they seem to be very well made. They're a bit shorter than most other domed pellets, so they fit pretty easily and snugly in the breech of the .22 airguns in which I've tried them.
Things I Would Have ChangedThese and the .177 caliber version both give me occasional flyers indoors at thirty feet, so they need to be reliably accurate (basically, these are the only pellets I've tried that aren't consistently accurate out of pretty much everything in which they're tried). More weight! IMO, these are far too light for anything but plinking/target shooting (and that only if they could be counted on to be accurate, but I wouldn't try small game or pest hunting with these either). Lower the MSRP: these FTTG pellets are incredibly low in weight, compared to other lead free pellets. They're shorter too, so obviously they use less of the metals out of which they're made. Why then do they cost as much as the other lead free choices? Until this afternoon, I pretty much thought these were a waste of way too much money, but after finding they shot true out of my Drifter carbines, at least I'll be able to use up what's left of the ones I bought to try them out. I won't be buying more.
What Others Should KnowNot quite as bad as the .177 version, but both give me problems with accuracy, enough that until today, I'd all but written them off as useful ammo. If I can't count on hitting the thing at which I'm shooting, they're useless. In fact, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use up what was left of the tins I bought to try them out, but today, I dusted off my trusty Crosman Drifter carbine and decided to see what that worthy shooter thought of 'em. Hey: Dead on! No way! These were iffy in just about every .22 airgun I have, at least those in which they were tried. Somehow, I must have missed trying them in my Drifters, because they loved these pellets! I get flyers using them in my Crosman C362 and C2023 particularly, which is a shame, since those basically are my go-to rifles in .22 caliber, but even my Dragonfly MK2 and Crosman 1322 pistol couldn't count on them for reliable accuracy. My Drifter likes them enough I'll use up what's left, so at least it wasn't a total waste of cash... ;-)
