The FX Radar Pocket Wireless Chronograph V2 represents an important evolution in this line of innovative devices. Smaller and lighter than ever at just 2.5oz and less than 2" x 2", it now comes with an internal 1500 mAh battery that can be recharged via a USB-C cable. In addition, it can now attach using a Picatinny mount or a bracket mount, providing more versatility than previous versions.
The chronograph uses Bluetooth to connect to an iOS or Android app, as well as to the separately available FX Digital Chronograph Display, and shows information such as FPS, shot strings, extreme spread, standard deviation, and more, while also allowing users to store profiles for multiple rifles. It uses Doppler radar technology, so it works in all weather conditions and does not require light to operate.

What Others Should KnowIt won't read .177 pellets really well probably due to there small size. I even tried the FX V2 on three different rifles I have. A break barrel, a PCP, and a Co2 powered rifle. Only registered some of the shots. :(
Small easy to set up mounts to the rail under my rifle. The app on my phone is easy to set up and use no problems picking up 177 cal pellets

The size of the unit is fantastic. It does have 2 very good ways of mounting the unit. It felt solidly built.
Things I Would Have ChangedThey should have done better with the upgrade so that it would read .177cal pellets. It didn't have any of the pellets I was going to use, nor did it have any slugs listed at all.
What Others Should KnowIf you are wanting this for .177cal pellets, do not buy it. You will be very disappointed, especially for the amount of money spent.
Easy to set up, small, rechargeable. So far ,so good. Got it out of the box, charged it and within a minute or two was measuring velocities. I shot about 200 18.13 and 15.89 grain pellets and only had one that didn't register. I guess my old Caldwell will be going in the back of the closet.

What Others Should KnowIt works, and works well!!
I love it. Can use it literally anywhere I can shoot. It is very easy and convenient. Seems very accurate as far as I can tell. Plenty enough for my purposes at least. Uses USB-C charger, which I have a ton of, so I will never lose the cord and it holds a charge for a lot longer than I have ever needed. I never had the first version, so I can’t compare, but I am very happy with this one. The app is very easy to use and also a handy feature. You can enter ammo info to get ft.lbs as well and also save all your shot strings to compare. I don’t need to take a notepad with me to the range anymore, it saves all the data for me.
