Make the trapdoor easier to open because I have to bring pocket knifes to the field with my to reload these mags after each round. You should also purchase 4 or 5 mags over time for the gun so you will not put too much stress on the mag if you only have 2 because eventually the spring will have deterioration and become flimsy and cause feeding issues. But this will only happen over probably a three or four year period.

THIS IS ONLY COMPATIBLE FOR THE AEG VERSION OF THE FAMAS!! THIS ALSO GOES FOR THE AEG USERS DO NOT BUY THE SPRING POWERED MAG BECAUSE IT WILL NOT FIT! Sorry for the caps, but please make sure you have the right type of mag before you purchase it. The spring and aeg mags will not fit in the others mag-well.

This is for my sons weapon of choice. A durable magazine for the Famas. It works as intended, though the opening for the magazine to feed the rounds into it can be tough.

The magazine opening, as I said it can be tough to open. My son uses a small screwdriver to open since he busted a fingernail on it.

The company seems to have a quality control issue with these particular items. The last two magazines I have bought were defective. The wheel would wind up a little ways and then go taut, like it was done winding. When you put the magazine into the weapon - it would not feed. The first magazine return was a hassle with the company we bought it from, that is why this last time I decided to buy from PyramidAir. When the mag arrived we tried it out. Same problem with the winding mechanism, but this time the replacement went smoothly. I called PA's customer service and they gave me an RA # immediately along with a shipping label and I sent it in for an exchange. Hassle-free. Thats what keeps me as a customer.

Feeds VERY WELL. While this mag is for the FAMAS style weapon only, if you have one, its a necessity to get a hi cap for it. the mid caps hold 68(ish) and run out ridiculously fast(i play cqb, so shooting fast and often is basically a requirement). The wheel turns easily, doesnt feel like it will break. Full metal except for cap where you put in ammo. Solid, good amount of bb's moved every time it is spun.

Plastic cap has to be popped up, which is difficult to manage. Although this can be a positive for people who like that or dont want a mag that opens too easily.

Great product for FAMAS users. Use one? I recommend this.
