Read more about the Diana Chaser CO2 Air Pistol in Tom Gaylord’s Airgun Blog.
The Diana Chaser CO2 Air Pistol is a backyard-friendly shooter designed for outdoor shooting sessions and indoor target training when the weather turns against you. Fueled by a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge, the Chaser is a finely balanced pistol with a streamlined synthetic frame.
Once you are ready to shoot, load a single CO2 cartridge, cock the smooth bolt-action, load your pellet. Then, pull the trigger to send your round downrange at speeds up to 525 fps in .177 or 460 fps in .22. While the Chaser only needs a single CO2 cartridge, a storage area in the bottom of the grip can hold a second CO2 cartridge to keep more air power on deck. Each Chaser features fixed front blade sight with an adjustable rear sight and an 11mm Dovetail rail to mount a scope and zero in on targets.
Diana includes a single shot tray for precision shooting, but the Chaser accepts the same magazines used by its big brother the Stormrider. With the addition of indexing magazines, transform your single-shot Chaser into a multi-shot repeater pistol! The indexing mags hold 9 shots in .177 and 7 in .22 and cut down your reload times significantly. The magazines are sold separately but are readily available here at Pyramyd AIR.
If you want a lightweight pistol that’s built for dropping cans and peppering paper targets, choose the Chaser and see what your plinking sessions have been missing!

Accurate - Liked feel - Good number of shots per air cylinder.
Things I Would Have ChangedThere is a significant problem with barrel seals falling out. I was lucky to find the smaller seal a few times on the ground, but I ran out of luck and could not find a replacement part. The first time the larger seal fell out, it was stretched out of shape for some reason. It must have gotten pulled by the cock pin. I can't find replacement parts without buying a bunch of other parts. It is too expensive to make up for a poor design plan.

This is my first CO2 airgun. My other airguns are springer rifles so I have nothing to compare this pistol to. It is inexpensive, seems to be made well, is accurate for what it is. I have the .22 caliber and it shoots low even with a full cartridge at 10 yards. The front sight is a plastic and I can easily file it down to get POA/POI where I want it with the pellet that groups the best. Until then I shoot at a closer range, or stick more sight post up through the rear sight. The .177 might have a better POA/POI. Looks like I get 40 consistent shots before the CO2 starts getting low and another 10 useable shots being 50 total. The cartridge will loose air overnight so I only install a cartridge when I have time to shoot 40-50 shots. The trigger is very good and the pistol is a good trainer for shooting a firearm handgun except for recoil control of course.
What Others Should KnowI bought an aftermarket suppressor.
Nice grip easy to load i got 45 shots before i saw any lack of power.
Things I Would Have ChangedI did not like the 11mm mount.
What Others Should KnowIt is loud for a small gun. It's louder than my Diana 48
Accurate, good power and just a fun gun to shoot.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowGood value
Very Accurate, great price, I get about 35 shots per Co2 cartridge. The gun shoots better than I can.
Things I Would Have ChangedAll good.
What Others Should KnowMissing seal kit, thanks to the Pyramyd support team, they are on their way to my house. Thanks.
Very accurate nice soft trigger let’s you shoot very smoothly

What Others Should KnowComes with a pretty nice case xtra bonus great buy for the buck
The Chaser has a great trigger. Hard to find at this price point. And it's adjustable. Very accurate rifle/pistol. Fit and finish is excellent. Options everywhere if you look hard enough. It comes with a vinyl case that's OK but has limited use. Seems to like all pellets I've tried. The rifle configuration and how it assembles is neat. Top engineering design. This is a fantastic price on a gun of this quality. Did I mention the excellent trigger!
Things I Would Have ChangedI like it the way it is which is why I bought it.
What Others Should KnowThe Chaser and the Airbug are my two favorite shooters now, and I have a few nice guns for comparisons. The Chaser has a personality all its own in the airgun world. The conversion feature from pistol to rifle is really neat and well done. Crosman's is good, but this is better in my opinion. The Chaser has a great trigger. 90% of the reviews I read don't mention the trigger. They should because it's the most important part of the gun that gives you accuracy consistency. A trigger you can 'squeeze' and not 'pull' if key. These guns have it. Flexibility is a great option. Type of pellet used with the rifle--mine is a .22--makes it a good pest control gun. It's also a great target shooter. I'm an old guy and this gun makes me look good. One more thing. This is assembled in China and designed in Germany. Both contries did a great job.
the ease of operation, the accuracy was good, in general a great looking pistol.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would put a more ergonomic grip on the pistol, I would also include the multi shot mag in the package.
What Others Should KnowIt is a great value for the price.
Not much!
Things I Would Have ChangedI've had it with PA. NO customer service, they blow you off to bluelineglobal...good luck with that. The ChasirvI got works with pistol barrel only. Rifle barrel is a no go. Paid extra for service shots and they only tested the pistol barrel, not rifle barrel. I am doing the only thing I can do, take my money some place else.

Size, weight, balance, trigger pull, quality of materials, ease of operation, and precise functionality. Everything about this gun says "quality", right down to the precision of adjustment to the rear sight! The trigger is a joy to use out of the box; light with clearly defined stages and clean break. Accuracy is superb and consistent! Loading/unloading CO2 cartridges is simple, precise, and with no waste of gas. I got 52 shots from one cartridge shooting pellets ranging from 5.25gr - 8.64gr. The left-hand bolt works smoothly and precisely, and can easily be de-cocked.
Things I Would Have ChangedWould be nice if the threaded muzzle end was a standard 1/2 x 20 instead of the M10 x 1.00; that would leave far more options for a suppressor.
What Others Should KnowThis gun comes with a single-shot tray, but NOT a magazine! So if you want/need a mag, that will add significantly to the overall cost of the gun. That said, the mags are metal (except for the clear cover) and work well for me. I also have not noticed any degradation in accuracy using a magazine. The gun also comes with a nice little carry case with cut-out foam to secure the gun, a tin of pellets, two magazines, and what looks to be room for a suppressor; however, the latter must be for one from Diana. I purchased a suppressor from Buck-rail which works superbly on this gun, but it's too big to fit in the foam cut-out. Also, If you keep the suppressor mounted on the gun (as I will do), and/or you mount an optic on the gun (even a small reflex), then it makes the case unusable. The case is a "nice touch", but I'd rather the gun come with a magazine instead of the case, and put the cost of the magazine towards a more accommodating case. Just my 2 cents :)
