I'm new to the red dot world so this inexpensive sight fits the bill perfectly . It's nothing fancy for sure , but it does work . I have it mounted on a 2240 with the steel breech and has got my groups much tighter now . Perfect for someone with bad eyes , and won't break the bank . If it breaks , I'll get another .

What Others Should KnowIf you've been hesitant about a red dot on a pistol , I'd get one of these . I think my Hatsan 125 or similar type of rifle would kill one of these . A CO2 rifle or a pumper may be okay .
This is the best of the 3 different brands of dot sights I have. The red dot is sharper and the 2 levels of brightness is very handy.

What Others Should KnowSome what large dot not really clear but for plinking at targets with a BB pistol it's adequate
Cheap and easy to install. Not so bad as an open sight for low power air guns or air soft guns.
Things I Would Have ChangedMore robust parts, but then the price would go up. The screw for the elevation adjustments should be made of metal at least.
What Others Should KnowThis is a neat toy, but the red dot is quite large as other reviewers have mentioned. Don't expect to see small targets at anything over 10 yards. This sight will not be able to handle any rough handling, it may break if you drop it or something falls on it.
