Styled like the iconic big blades featured in Western TV shows and movies, our Wild West Bowie is a noteworthy American classic. The blade is made from 1090 Carbon Steel. It is a long wide blade with weight forward balance and is saber ground and fortified with a false edge to assure maximum cutting, chopping, and piercing power. The handle has a classic profile, featuring Rosewood scales attached to the full tang with brass screws, and it has the characteristic S patterned brass handguard to protect your fingers and enhance its defensive potential. The Wild West Bowie is kitted with a traditional black leather sheath that features a brass swivel belt loop and leather leg strap.

Totally a manly mans knife ….. Sharp and feels very well made . I love the shape of the blade. The case is nice with strings to tie it to your leg .
Guys, everything would be great with this knife, but the tang is skeletonized. You SHOULD mention it in the description.
When I was little, my great uncle always had a big bowie knife on his hip. He was a avid outdoorsman and gold prospector. This Wild West Bowie looks exactly like it. I ordered one and just received it. Have to say I’m very impressed, knife is made extremely well, the cost was not outrageous. The real leather sheath is made well. It truly is a beautiful example of the classic bowie knife of the old days. Came extremely sharp as well.

The knife is an excellent quality knife thing that I stopped it from getting a five-star rating was that the hilt brass hilt was very tarnished when I received it and I'm currently polishing out with brass polish to get the help back to the standard that it should be.
Great knife for the price. Best chopper I've ever used. Guard is way too large. I would have preferred G10 scales, a soldered guard, and three Chicago screws through the handle. l Recommend

Excellent looking blade. I wish the sharpness of the blade was on par with some of the other higher end blades coming from Cold Steel.

Just received for Christmas, very pleased overall. A totally non historical bowie design but iconic none the less. Weight, balance sharpness all very good. Finish not so great, brass tarnished, scales dark and almost dirty looking, screws and lanyard tube sitting a little proud. Still those are nitpicks and easily remedied. Sheath also well made of decent weight leather. So over all very pleased, I would say if you're looking for a big impressive knife this fits the bill.
