Lately I've developed an itch for Cold Steel pocket swords. This is the smallest one I have, but at 5.5 inches, it still is a great preformer.
Had mine for a few years. Everything about this knife is outstanding. Big size makes opening a bit slow because the thumb stud doesn't fall under my thumb's arc but that's the price of its size. Might try the large version. Best blade shape I've seen for the full gambit of self defense purposes. Carries well. To me, it's the equal of a fixed blade - but folds for storage and wearing comfort. Nice knife. Although the blade didn't come uniformly sharp.
This knife is wicked looking, intimidating, scary sharp and is an attention getter when it's opened. It is definitely a "knife man's" knife, more like a pocket machete.
Best work knife I've ever owned. Keeps an edge but not too hard to sharpen after long use. Easy to maintain. The stainless steel is perfectly tempered.
