Our Viking Battle Axe is intended to be used as a stand-alone weapon, but it can be paired effectively with a sword, shield, or long sax. Its a cutting, chopping, stabbing dynamo that any Viking worth his salt would, would envy. Its drop forged and features a wide curved cutting edge that terminates in horns or points on the ends. This means you can stab, parry, or hook shields or limbs with ease. Like our Viking Great Axe, it comes with a premium 30 inch long American Hickory handle which is long enough to accommodate two handed use!

Ax is balanced and great for single hand use. Needed to be sharpened. Otherwise perfect for the job intended.
Came fast and sharp although I sharpened it a bit myself and I wish it was longer but other than that it’s great
If you are thinking of buying this, don't. Get their Viking hand axe instead. Though this is labeled as a battle axe, it can be misleading. The hand axe is the same weight, size, and almost the same sharp edge length. It is still a decent axe especially for the price.
Awesome bang for the buck. Handle is a great profile and blade is sharp and light Retainer set screw is a nice touch, wish it didn't say Taiwan on it but that's being picky, only reason it doesn't get five stars

Bought this at the Knifeworks in Pigeon Forge, amazing axe. Feels well balanced, can be used one or two-handed. Hickory may not be a historically accurate wood for the handle, but neither is carbon steel for the blade. Overall, I love it! (Also amazing pricing!)
