Cold Steel Tiger Fork - Head Only

I have a lot of good knifes from you, swords, this cane is too stinking heavy, some may like it, I will have to drill bunch of holes in it as for me......useless

It’s an effective self defense tool. Looks awesome and gets a lot of attention from people I walk by with my wife

This cane was very useful through two hip replacements and two knee operations, and I still carry it for a bit of security where defense weapons aren't allowed. The "hatchet" handle pointy side is great for opening doors etc., and the hook side for pulling things out of my truck bed, hanging it up when at a restaurant etc. It can be somewhat menacing looking if you need that to preclude trouble, but it's just unsharpened polypropylene. It's a bit heavy for speed in a defense mode, in my opinion, but this octogenarian still works out so no problem if the adrenaline kicks-in. Another excellent Cold Steel creation of which I have many. Also have the excellent, full blade sword cane, and the best cane ever made -- the carbon fiber with "golf ball" head cane that was discontinued, probably because it cost too much to make.

Love the shape and heft of this cane. Looks intimidating but still functional as a walking cane (needs a rubber footing for slick surfaces though). The lower tip of the axe head was chipped when I received it (a result of poor handling during shipping). I easily smoothed it out with my knife but I would be wary of chopping anything harder than a watermelon. All in all, perfect fashion statement, great medical support on rough terrain, and good defense against most threats.

It's just a taller cane. Axe head is nice but it's hard plastic so only really a deterrent, seems tough but again it's plastic. Works ok for a walking cane if you are a bit taller. Be a nice addition to the dog walk kit.

I recently purchased my Axe Head Cane and am very pleased with its structural integrity and weight. I'm now almost 61, and while I still have my health and mobility intact, there have been several previous issues related to foot and/or ankle injury that called for the assistance of a cane. Canes may be in plentiful supply, but if I ever need one that has the structural integrity to serve as a self defense weapon, I'll be glad to have my Cold Steel Axe Head cane.

Bought one to go with my cheap WM cane and glad I did since the VA is still fighting my service claim. These come in pretty long, so if you are short you'll need to trim it a little and add a cane tip on the bottom. As self-defense instructor, this thing is just wicked! Wrist locks, arm locks, arm bar takedown, arm drag takedown, blunt force, and so much more! Cold Steel needs to i clude instructions on how to trim these AND a doggone rubber cane tip for the bottom.

Photos and review all say, tone down the pointed and sharp edges. Make it a "defensive" walking cane instead of an "offensive" looking cane. Maybe I'd buy one. I shouldn't have to modify it. I have and use frequently the African Walking Stick almost daily and I get comments of how it looks like a club. Looking for something still as effective but less intimidating in public and airline travel.
