Cold Steel Ti-Lite Aluminum 4" (S35VN), Ambidextrous

I purchased this from a knife dealer who had it on clearance. He showed me how to open it. I fell in love with it immediately. It is by far the coolest knife I’ve ever owned. It can easily be flicked out like a spring assisted switchblade.

Incredible Knife. EDC. And Cold Steel hooked me up as a vet. I am so thankful and incredibly proud of my knife.

This is my second Ti Lite, well, third if you count the 6” I purchased by mistake. I love this knife! My first one lasted several years before the belt clip fell off (my fault for not paying attention) but it really set the bar. I purchased a 6” thinking it was an overall measurement, lol, the thing was so big I literally couldn’t give it away. Now that I’m carrying a 4” again, I won’t carry anything else including bench-made. Nothing stands up in comparison. It deploys in a split second, comes sharp and is easy to maintain. I will have one of these in my pocket for the rest of my life.

I got mine about 5 years ago. I wore it so much that the black has rubbed off now it's just the silver aluminum. Blade is great, knife is great. It has one quirk. But it's a big quirk. The part of the knife that catches your pocket in order to open is to sharp. I have forgotten, put it in the pocket with my phone, and it scratches my phone screen every time I forget! I am stricktley posting this to say, if you took that sharp corner off that would be sweet. I would buy a new one.

I’ve owned the “cheap” version of this knife for years, and finally decided to upgrade for the better blade steel and the aluminum handle. It looks fantastic and cuts extremely well. But getting the damned thing to open is an exercise in sheer frustration! There’s a little nub of a flipper, but just TRY using it to flip the blade out. And there’s that little gizmo that is supposed to catch on your pants pocket and pull the blade out — make sure you’re wearing heavy jeans, because there’s an excellent chance the gizmo will tear a hole in your pocket! Loosening the pivot screw helps a bit, but there don’t appear to be bearings in the pivot to help the process at all. In short, as cool as this knife looks, as great as the blade steel is, don’t count in it operating anything like a classic stiletto. It’s really sort of an old man’s knife, one that doesn’t open much faster than Grandpa’s old Case XX

This is my EDC and I love the feel and ease of use of it. It also holds an edge and point amazingly well!

I love this blade. I had the cheaper version for almost 10 years and finally decided to upgrade.

This aluminum handled TI-LITE does not disappoint and it is an upgrade to my previous blade that I had for nearly ten years. Light and a quick draw, it cuts through anything I've needed it for and has proven to be durable over long periods.

My favorite knife in my collection. I prefer it over my benchmade!
