Our Spike series neck knives are slim, light and super-tough. Their razor sharp, zero ground blades, are complemented by heavily scalloped, textured handle scales that offer a comfortable and secure grip. The Spike's ergonomic handles feature Integral quillons that provide a safe stop for index finger and thumb, while deeply textured and sculpted Griv-Ex provides excellent positive traction even when your hands are cold, wet and slippery. Available in four distinctive blade shapes (Bowie, Drop Point, Tokyo and Tanto point) they offer all the strength of a one-piece solid steel construction while still being light enough to carry all day without fatigue. Each Spike is supplied complete with a Secure-Ex sheath that provides excellent retention and safety.

I’ve had my Spike for about a month and I must use it 15 times a day. I have two to three blades on me everyday, you know a blade for this and a blade for that. BUT the Spike is so nimble and the edge is ever shape it’s the first I grab. Thank you guys for this blade.
This is a great knife for self defense and very easy to deploy from it's sheath. The blade is very sharp right out the box. This is my backup weapon to my ccw.I highly recommend this knife to anyone anyone who is looking for a great defense weapon.
I've had this one for about a year I guess . I've got 2 other Cold Steel neck knives. A Super Edge & a Hideout that are super handy , so I got the Tanto Spike to checkout. There are pros & cons to this knife . The pros are that it makes a great steak knife . It feels good in your hand , it's balanced , it has a non slip handle if your hands get greasey from eating or bloody from skinning a deer or other critter . Another pro is that it throws good . I know it's not a suitable knife to throw & don't recommend it to others because of the possibility of breaking or chipping the blade . But it is balanced & does throw well. The cons are it's a bit big for a neck knife . If you wear it under your shirt , people ask if your wearing a medical device . It could have a clip on the sheath for IWB or boot carry .
Very durable blade. Gorgeous finish, great handle, grip, and durability. Perfect for self-defense as a single bar solid blade. Easily fits in small hands as well as large.
Very sharp right out of the package. Didnt like the chain for necklace but replaced with paracord and good as new.
