Woe unto grapvine, cedar strangler. Woe unto privet, invasive beast. Woe to the thicket vine, which seeks to tangle my toddlers. Haughty, wild have you grown under the purview of the lazy, previous owners. I did, once, look upon you with despair, but now it is your despair which reeks the air. I, who render you from brush into pile. I, who fan flames to consume your carcasses. Yes I will lay you low, and make you mulch, for in hand is steel. And it is cold. For real this is a working machete, and it works.
I am new to machetes, including this one. But my experienced friend says this machete is unlike perhaps any other machete he's gotten. It just feels a lot more well-built. Other machetes, for instance, will eventually start to get a little jiggly as if the handle and blade are about to come loose where they've been joined. But this is totally solid and, he thinks, is basically going to last forever. So he would consider this a really good deal. Thanks for recommending this one, E! P.s. It is solid and feels almost indestructible. I was considering the 21" blade, but it would have been overkill. The sheeth is well made as well.
