Well, Made. I didn't even have to fit the handle to the head.
I have been working in Forestry for over 10 years and have gone through my share of hatchets. I bought this one in 2020 and used it almost every day for 3 years until it was recently stolen. The only issue I had with it was the handle broke which was an easy fix. It has a perfect reach, holds an edge really well and just looks awesome so I didn't hesitate to buy a second one.
I have had this tool for years. I keep mine sharpened down to a paper cutting razor edge. I have cut trees down with it, split wood with it, I have scrapped animal hides, carved wood, very thing except thrown it. I broke the hammer pole off beating another axe with it but it still cuts and so I'm not even mad. The thin cheeks give it an excellent bite into the wood. The curve of the bit give a nice profile for carving. The steel holds an edge very well I sharpened it once and since then have only had to dress it up a few times. The handle is long enough to swing two handed and I can chop through +/-8 inch trees if I have to. A solid ax that appears to be a good working ax. I like it except I thought it came with a seath but it didn't.
