Our goal in creating the Pro Lite series was to provide a heavy duty folding knife with the expected Cold Steel superior strength and durability at an affordable price. Designed with famed knife-maker Andrew Demko, the Pro Lite sports a 4116 German stainless cryo quenched blade with a durable stone washed finish and a tactical inspired tanto profile. Our tough Tri-Ad locking mechanism ensures a rock solid lock up.The textured handle is made from textured glass-filled nylon and has a stainless steel pocket clip that is reversible for left or right hand tip-up carry.

Not as big and beefy as the old pro lite series, and no part serrated option either sadly, and i much preferthe liner type lock of the old style. Definitely doesn't replace the original that served me 20 years till sadly lost recently, BUT it's still a quite well made and sharp knife👍
This is a fairly expensive knife. The size, and design of the knife fit my hand perfectly. That was the reason I purchased. That having been said, however, , there are two severe drawbacks that take away a couple of stars. First, I am a fairly large, and strong male. Even for me the knife is nearly impossible to close. Yes it is sturdy, but once open you need two hands, and several tries to close it. That is not pleasant, and, given the sharpness of the blade perhaps a little dangerous. Secondly, the pocket clip on the knife is far too small, tight, and sharp for a knife of this size. I found it necessary to take the clip off, place it in a vice and bend it outwards to make it usable. A much larger clip would have been more appropriate. Its a nice knife, but sadly, until I can loosen it up, I will not be carrying or using it.
The geometry of Demko's tanto is outstanding. Easy to sharpen and maintain.
It’s not so bad to open, but closing is very tight and almost feels gritty, I was hoping for something less complicated.
It's a great, low budget knife from CS that kick many expensive folders in many aspects! There are no steel liners on the inside of the handle! It's only grivex handle secured by the safest and most durable lock in folding knives in the world! You can put it through rough use without being worry that the knife letting you down! I would love to see this knife in different blade style and color options again since I could purchase two (one clip point and one tanto) in Blue color but it seems that the only color available is black! Way to go Demko! Way to go Cold Steel!

Seems like a good concept, except sheath is problematic. I worry about cutting myself getting blade out of sheath, or jabbing myself locking blade into sheath, or stabbing myself while wearing blade around my neck if sheath falls off.

Knife was a gift. Opens and kocks well. Very sharp blade. When I close the knife, I hold the blade with one hand and the handle with the other: 1st finger unlocks the blade. I close the knife safely using thumb and 1st finger of each hand,
