I have yet to use this, but I am curious to know what the blade angle, or edge angle is in order to rehone the edge. It is super sharp already, but I would like to keep it smooth. Is there any advice, or anyone there, that can help me? This blade is a beast! (I'm 6'3" tall, and the blade is as long as my arm!). I don't want to screw up the edge, I just want to smooth it out without voiding the warranty, or dulling it.
I always wanted the cold steel o katana this sword is extremely sharp it's the biggest sword I have thanks another cold steel.

Hats down, my favourite katana-like blade. It's very large, very durable, very heavy (people often complain about it, but for me THAT'S THE POINT! It is supposed to feel like that). It cuts like a dream, it is easy to re-sharpen, I love the kissaki shape and length. Only quality issue - little rust spots near the kissaki, but that just can happen when the sword lies stored.
I see for the price, a design in a true Katana. My hilt length is 13.5 and this is 13 with a blade of 36”. I’m thinking the balance is good and any trained in the art may like. Will the sword hold up???

I love it so much. People ask why I spent money on a sword but I mean every time I think about owning one it makes me smile so what better reason than that? The blade is great and sharp. I ran around cutting stuff outside when I first got it. The hilt is also so pretty and I love the little gold lions!

I've had it for a while and it is every bit of heavy as they say. Very thick blade. Highly durable. The Tsuba gets loose if you are not attentive in sheathing. DO NOT SLAM THE SWORD BACK IN IT'S SCABBARD. Other than that its a great blade.
