As much as Cold Steel loves the massive cutting and piercing power of big, fixed blade knives, there is no denying that wearing one in plain sight will often draw unwanted attention or comments. Available in traditional and reinforced point blade styles, they offer astounding cutting and thrusting potential that belies their modest stature. The robustly stout blades have wide, full tangs that run the full length of the handle. They are coupled with stainless steel guards and super high traction Kray-Ex handles that are stylized to mimic the traditional look of cord wrapped Japanese sword handles. The slim, comfortable sheath is versatile and will accept a bead chain lanyard, or a Cold Steel C-Clip, so it can be carried in a variety of ways.

My first cold steel but not my last!! It’s perfect. Disappears in the front pocket. I can get a full grip on it and it is LASER BEAM sharp. I’m in love. I have a personalized recon tanto comin the mail. I can’t wait for it!

I had high expectations with this blade. I have several cold steel knives and they all came razor sharp. This one must have missed the grind that day. Not what I expected from cold steel.
Awesome little budget blade. Channel your inner Musashi. Good sheath, mostly. Haven't discovered a satisfactory way to wear it horizontally yet. 'Taint giving up. The Cold Steel small C-Clips = meh. I'm baffled the holes in the sheath don't accomodate paracord. Consequently I'm just packing it in a pocket ATM.
Nice stout blade good handle and sheath. I believe it will keep a good edge for a long time. I was hoping it would be a bit smaller as i had a cold steel mini tonto. For many year's. It was the perfect neck knife I used it for cleaning deer in Wisconsin. This new one will do but it is a bit large for a neck knife.
This is a really sweet blade. Holds its sharp edge, strong, very nice healt, and very cool looking Tanto by far. I truly thought this blade was just a cheap blade, but after receiving it and using it quite often, I am very satisfied by far.
