I bought a frontier hawk from Cold steel roughly 5 to 10 years ago. And customized it too closely represent my family history. Plus I carry it with me when I go in the woods or when I walk up the road. It's my favorite tomahawk...
It's small in my opinion, would happily pay more for a longer wide blade . It's OK , I am not impressed .

I'm a big fan of Cold Steel in general (I didn't want to be, cuz they're not as "fancy" as other tactical blades) but over the years I've owned and subsequently loved many of their products. From 3in folders to tactical machetes and tomahawk. But as of yet I am most impressed by this very simple axe, I use it on a day to day basis as a tool in my horticulture business (which if you aren't aware is VERY hard on edged tools) and it's light weight and easily sharpened blade make it a great asset. I also do reenactments and European martial arts and this little axe is awesome for edged combat, but it truly shines when thrown. Every time it hits edge on, it's balanced perfectly and sticks in everything from the Giant Sequoia in my front yard to sticking through plywood of various thickness with no issues.

I like this tomahawk a lot. In fact I might like it better than many of the hi tech ones I come across. It has very good materials and it balances well. I don't there's a need for all those expensive pieces for all practical purposes. I recommend the Frontier Hawk for camping or self defense.
