You'll soon forget that you are carrying such a large and impressive blade.Equipped with the patented Demko Thumb Plate, the Large and Extra Large Espadas can be snagged on your pocket, opening the knife as you draw it - and opening in the blink of an eye!The Espada's beautiful blades are made from premium American S35VN Alloy Steel - chosen for its ability to not only take a super-fine cutting edge, but to hold it for an exceptionally long time.They also feature expertly polished G-10 scales and mirror polished 7075 Aluminum bolsters and frame. Each Espada is equipped with our patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven to have amazing shock resistance and strength. In our own notoriously brutal product testing, the XL Espada was not only capable of holding 600lbs of free hanging weight, but we even used it to support a hanging engine block!

For over 15 years, the Large Espada has been on my mind. I’ve admired it from afar but never had the chance to own one. As someone who frequently wears three-piece suits, I’ve been searching for a knife that complements this style. When the founder of Cold Steel mentioned it as an ideal suit knife, my interest was piqued even more. Seeing it listed without reviews gives me hope that it’s available, and I would love to purchase one immediately. I need a classy knife as soon as possible.

I’ve had my Espadas for years. The Large S35VN is the perfect size for me. My G-10 is obscene and makes for a good party trick, but I can actually carry around the prettier and smaller Espada in India, as it complies with the laws of carrying a Kirpan.
