Use mine in public safety, excellent as a field knife
knife for the money. Drop Forged 52100 High Carbon Steel (All One Piece) and Lightweight. The Blade was sharp out of the box with a thickness of 5mm (just over an 1/8") and a 4" Length and the handle 4 5/8". I like the knife and wrapped the handle with paracord to make it more user friendly. This knife is a Camp Knife meant to do small tasks around a site. The blade is small for batoning but not impossible for smaller bits of wood. If you want a trust worthy utility knife then get yourself one of these; You won't regret it
excellent knife, excellent cut resistance, a knife that I personally like very much. But the blue/black/grey cover that covers the knife comes off too easily, I don't know why they changed the cover method.
I’ve had this knife for 5months now and use it frequently. It’s tough and versatile as far a uses. The fact that the knife is one piece of steel makes this knife super durable, balanced, and versatile (as a tool). Would recommend it to anyone who understands the value of a well made blade.

I used it for different bushcraft activities in the Forêt de Soignes in Belgium, and I was completely convinced by the efficiency of this knife. Moreover its lines are superb. The Drop Forged Hunter is a masterpiece of design and efficiency.

An exceptional blade at a reasonable price. Used Gen 1 Hunter at works as a construction foreman. Really tough knife. The wide blade and a thin handle with the groove in the middle, allow for greater leverage and some really fine control. Just got Gen 2. Feels like the steel quality has improved and the knife itself is lighter. Makes an excellent combat blade. Thin profile makes it easy to conceal. Easy to sharpen and maintain. And again, the shape of the handle provides unbelievable amount of control. The only downside is the sheath, the knife sits too high and leans out on the belt.
