Bought this last week. Just used it for the first time and it did fine though the brush, but I hit a couple 1½ in thick Black Locust branches and rolled the edge so bad it's almost unusable
Hugely versatile machete.1055 steel is very tough,easy to sharpen and holds an edge for decent amount of time.Sheath is simple but effective and should last a long time.If I was stuck on a desert island with this machete I would be very grateful
