I bought the axe a month ago. Feel right to my hand. The weight is nice. It came not sharp at all. It took me sometimes to sharpen the axe. When sharpen it performances great. I have Granfors Bruks small axe. I like this better than my gransfors bruks. The only complain I have is the handle is slippery when get wet.
I compete in the WATL, axe throwing competitions. This is an excellent axe, great for beginners and more advanced throwers alike. I have dozens of axes, and most of them cost 3×-5× what this Cold Steel axe goes for. Can't beat it for the price! This also makes a great axe for use around the campsite. I highly recommend this axe!
