Description
All you need is an air source, and you're good to go! This kit has everything else you need.
As a repeater, the Benjamin Bulldog bullpup gives you a distinct advantage when you're hunting and need a quick followup shot or have the opportunity to take several critters at close intervals. While it already comes with a great 6-20x50 scope, there's plenty of room to add a flashlight, scope, bubble level or laser.
The massive power of the Bulldog doesn't come with the loud bang other big bores have. Benjamin's proprietary SoundTrap baffle brings the report way down, making it easier to hunt without scaring away other potential targets in the area.
If you're left-handed, don't forget to order our service to switch the sidelever to the other side of the gun.
Our tech department did some velocity testing, and here's what they found using an 81-grain JSB pellet. The reservoir was filled to 3,000 psi for this shot string. The ending pressure was 1,900 psi:
Shot 1: 897
Shot 2: 908
Shot 3: 903
Shot 4: 892
Shot 5: 882
Shot 6: 876
Shot 7: 864
Shot 8: 848
Shot 9: 833
Shot 10: 817

What Others Should KnowGreat shipping will do business again .
Awesome rifle accurate hardhitting. As usual with p.a. I got it in a couple of days the soft case it came with is great.
Things I Would Have ChangedNo
What Others Should KnowCraig was great answered all my questions, when I got the bulldog I installed a pitbull mega moderator and a pitbull depinger the rifle is so quiet now it is amazing almost indoor friendly. Also Ruth was very good to work with answered all my follow up questions thank you p.a.
Light and easy to handle and this big bore definently packs a punch you will not be disappointed with this rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedI tend to agree with others, the fill port cover is a bit tricky to get off .
The things I like about the bulldog are it’s well-balanced nice looking gun slams whatever you shoot for the price you can’t beat this gun I highly recommend it it is my first big bore
Things I Would Have ChangedThe only things I would change about this gun is maybe put a factory de pinger and a better valve port gaurd
What Others Should KnowIt shoots the Nielsen 145 grain slug well
its everything i hoped for. this is not a toy. has the power of a fire arm and im highly impressed. love it
Things I Would Have Changedits a little loud so the neighbors could confuse it for a firearm other than that its perfect
What Others Should Knowif your a gun nut like me this may just make you a full on air gunner.
Great build quality and accuracy. She's a total beast.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe magazine needs improvement. Easy to double load.
Great value in the "Bullpup" kit. The accessories are well worth the extra cost over the base rifle. Mine also came with a scope riser mount and a full box of 25 rounds of Noslers. The Realtree finish is pretty nice -- its painted on, not stickers. The weight is not bad at all. The included sling fits well. The cocking lever easily switches to opposite side for Lefties. The fill port is located behind the grip, NOT at the muzzle. The action is smooth and firm, cocks nicely. Muzzle is not very loud. The power is very good in stock trim. I like the built-in picatinny rails; they aren't sharp like some others. Magazines fit almost flush and do not stick out. The scope it comes with is actually a pretty nice scope with a lot of different adjustments and illumination. Shoots straight and consistent. Overall the package is well balanced and feels good in the hands. Shoulders nicely.
Things I Would Have ChangedLike everyone said, the fill port cover is not designed well. I can't remove it without a screwdriver, and worse, it doesn't keep dirt and debris from getting into the actual fill port. The loud "TWANG" in my ear when firing is a little unpleasant. It would be nice if they came with a "depinger" standard. The air capacity is under-whelming. only 3kpsi max fill and only 360cc standard. Need to bump that up to 4500psi fill and 500cc (like aftermarket offers). The buttstock is a little short for my personal preference. This could be easily fixed with a spacer or aftermarket pad though.
What Others Should KnowI ordered this package in mid-July 2020 and just received it Feb 2021. A long wait, but glad I did. This Bulldog hits hard right out of the box. At 50 yds it will go right through a steel barrel. Use common sense and a good backstop. Get a real cap for the fill port. I bought the A.V. cap here from pyramid for I think 5 bucks. The best ammo is probably the Noslers it was designed for. They seem to work best. Be aware the Bulldog is an air hog. 10 shots max from full to empty in stock form. Bonus -- there is a great aftermarket for the Bulldogs -- check out pit bull air guns in texas.
it feels better than it looks and the scope that came with it works very well this thing shoots hard and only a little loud . I am still trying to get shot groups together and figure out what pellets it likes best . good trigger
Things I Would Have Changedfill port cover is awkward

Compact size, power, accurate with the right bullet
Things I Would Have ChangedScope, case, and bipod. I would forgo the kit and just purchase the rifle and outfit the rest with better quality stuff. The soft case offers little protection. I could have gotten a decent hard case and better scope for the added cost of the kit. a 6-20 scope is not really practical for the intended use of this gun. 3-9 would be better.
What Others Should KnowThe included accessories in the kit aren't all that great. I'm using this rifle for deer hunting. 3-9 x 40 would be a better fit. I'm not trying to shoot mice in the head at 100 yards. Deer realistically within 70 yards don't require 20X magnification. The case is ok but not great. The bipod is pretty cheap and too noisy for hunting purposes. The balance and short handling make this gun a real pleasure to carry around in the woods. The sling is good. I used 82 grain pellets 115 grain and 125 grain AIr Venturi bullets which all hit the average kill zone of a deer but I got a nice tight 1" group at 50 yards when using Mr. Hollowpoint 140 grain bullets. I will be sending this gun to Pit Bull to get a complete makeover with power boost, depinger, barrel supports, moderator and trigger job.
