Description
The Beeman Raider PCP Air Rifle is a very affordable way to get started with pre-charged pneumatic air guns, with the features and options to offer a convenient and simple shooting experience. Reaching velocities of up to 1050 FPS in .177, 900 FPS in .22, and 800 FPS in .25, this air rifle has the needed power and accuracy for plinking, pest control, and small-game hunting.
This air rifle has an attractive and durable hardwood stock not often found on air guns at this price point, lending it a classic look and feel, as well as a textured rubber buttpad for control and comfort.
The Beeman Raider is powered by an air cylinder that fills to 3500 PSI (241 BAR) to provide an ample number of shots per fill, and the shrouded barrel and noise reduction system combine to offer a lower sound level than competing air rifles. In addition, the integrated fill pressure gauge located on the bottom of the forearm allows for simple monitoring of the fill pressure.
In order to deliver accurate sighting options without requiring additional purchases, this air rifle includes a hooded fixed front fiber optic sight and a rear sight that adjusts for both windage and elevation. It also has an 11mm dovetail optics rail that enables the attachment of a scope or other optics to improve aiming at longer distances.
To get an air gun with features designed for ease of use for straightforward pest control, plinking, and small-game hunting, buy the Beeman Raider PCP Air Rifle today at Pyramyd AIR.

10 of 10 Beeman Raider Reviews
Nice looking rifle, shipping was on time.
Things I Would Have ChangedI'm new to air rifles. My experience is with leaver action pellet hand guns and with skeet shotguns and some hand guns. I read the instruction carefully. I had no trouble charging the Raider cylinder to 3500 psi. In fact, I purchased a new compressor that charged the rifle twice now to 3500 psi in about 5 minutes each time. Now, The rifle is a .22 caliber model. I purchased 3 magazines and load them with the 10 pellets each. I opened the breach, loaded the magazine until it clicked, closed the bolt and locked it down. I tried to fire it and nothing happened. In my inexperience I retracted the bolt then pushed the bolt forward again. Well, as I was to find out there were two pellets in the barrel. I found this out when I took a cleaning rod with a cotton end and pushed it down the barrel after taking the safety precautions of course. Two pellets popped out. This has been a continuous problem. I can get the gun to fire if I remove the mag and push the bolt forward again. It will fire.
What Others Should KnowIt could be me but I've fired at a rodent from about five feet away several different times and apparently missed both times!! May need a professional to check my sights.
So it was easy to order and it came very quickly . It is a very nice looking gun. I bought it in .25 cal because I had bought 600 rounds of pellets that I could not use in my Hatsan Velox pistol. Right from the start the bolt action seemed sticky but I I just figured it wad because it was new . I shot about 250 rounds thru it and it was Very accurate , however it started a thing where the first shot wad fine and then the second shot on cocking it no air pressure was allowed into the breech and it would not shoot and if you cocked it again then you would have 2 pellets in the barrel . This continued over and over again . I contacted Pyramyd and they immediately started a return for either a refund or replacement. I asked if those wss a common problem and and he replied that they had not had any complaints about this problem. So I close a replacement. And they sent me a ups return label immediately. And a new gun should be here shortly! I am very impressed with their company!
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing at tje moment
What Others Should KnowPyramydair is a Fantastic company and I highly recommend them to everyone! They will take care of you!
Everything!
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing!
What Others Should KnowThis is my first PCP I bought the .25 caliber. After reading all the reviews and watching all the videos this was the one i decided on for my first PCP, and even though this is my second day with it I can honestly say as of right now I am not disappointed at all. I had the 24 hour leak test done and the 10 for 10. When I recieved it I mounted my scope and rings on it. It was late and the sun was settingso i roughly sighted it in from a not so good rest at an undetermined yardage. I brought it out today and shot at 30 yds. and shot a 5 shot group the size of a dime. Great entry gun. A lot of gun for the price!
Absolutely everything, I can write about it all day, but I rather shoot it all day long instead :)))
Things I Would Have ChangedNOTHING
What Others Should KnowGET ONE!!!
The price, trigger, tuneable hammer spring, not pellet picky and the accuracy and hand pump friendly.
Things I Would Have ChangedI know people do not like the bolt action. If you grew up with bolt action rifles it is intuitive but deliberate. You need to pay attention. I would prefer a Weaver or Pic rail mount as opposed to dovetail but it's not a deal breaker. I added a UTG dovetail to Pic rail adapter. Some people don't like the plastic. It's a $160.00 air rifle if plastic bothers you spend more money. I can live with the rifle just as it is. It's simply to good to complain.
What Others Should KnowThe Raider is not a sophisticated rifle. It is a basic budget PCP that punches well above it's weight. I own both the .25 and. .22 caliber rifles. I don't use a chrony I shoot by feel and results. Both rifles have been scoped and are zeroed out to 40 yards. I'm not interested in stacking pellets at 25 yards. I shoot 2 inch diameter targets. If I can hit them that's good enough for me. I have been able to push the rifles out to 80/85 yards with remarkable success. I have probably maxed out the .25 caliber at 85 yards but I intend to push on to 100. My shot count is 4 mags in .25 caliber but I'm still tinkering with the .22 caliber but I suspect it will probably be around 36 shots. I have had success with Crosman, H&N, JTS and Umarex Brimstone pellets. I prefer to shoot lighter pellets but the Brimstones are the exception to the rule. They are probably too heavy for distances beyond 60 yards. The Raider is fun to shoot. Great accuracy and you didn't break the bank.
Nice looking rifle, well balance, nice trigger. Wood stock looks and feels great. Actually alot quiet than I was expecting from a 25cal.
Things I Would Have ChangedWould like to see a metal breech for this gun
What Others Should KnowNice pcp rifle for the price. Well made.
The stock is a great shape and size, the ability to adjust the hammer spring whenever you want the fact that it has a scope Rail built-in is nice and I got it for a great price!!
Things I Would Have ChangedI changed the moderator to a Buck Rail 1/2x20 Cut the sound in half I took the plastic covers and all the iron sites off makes the whole barrel looks so much cleaner!
What Others Should KnowBe careful when your cock in the gun not to double feed it!
Right out of the box I was extremely impressed by both the wooden stock, and the metal finish. I added a set of high rings, and a Simmons 3x9x40 scope. Airing the rifle was very fast and easy with my GX-3 compressor. I zeroed the scope at 25 yards, taking all of 6 shots to be hitting bullseye. No adjustments to the hammerspring needed. Fit and feeding of the 25 caliber pellets was excellent. This is going to make an excellent squirrel and trash panda killer.
Things I Would Have ChangedA moderator that actually works maybe? Better air stripper. Glad I live in the country, because mine is loud. Pretty much .22 powder burner loud.
What Others Should KnowChanging the moderator and air stripper is easy enough, and it will tame the bark down to backyard levels.
The price! The power. The accuracy. The weight. The fit and finish. The bolt hold open notch. The pressure gauge. The adjustable hammer. The trigger. The magazine capacity. The wood stock. All good!
Things I Would Have ChangedEliminate the hammer bounce. Improve the bolt throw. Add a magnet to the plastic breech and a metal plate to the magazine to make it more secure. Accuracy is good but could be better
What Others Should KnowOut of the box my .25 caliber model could not use the full 3500 PSI fill. Too much hammer bounce. After adjusting the hammer and lowering the fill pressure to 2500-2700 PSI I'm getting an average of 684 FPS with 25.39gr pellets for about 24 shots with a max of 720 FPS. A very good gun especially for this price but the bolt operation is clunky and it's easy to double feed with the magazine. Insect repellent will dissolve the finish on the stock.

For the price, everything. Folks you can shoot 50.gn. N.O.E. cast slugs accurately beyond fifty yards.(560fps or 34.8fpe)
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing, well maybe a lighter trigger pull.
What Others Should KnowThis is a great starter airgun IMO. If you choose to shoot 50g. slugs, go with a mil dot reticle, this gun deserves it!
