Description
The Barra 1866 CO2 BB Rifle is a replica airgun that takes shooters to an earlier era in history with realistic details and operation in a very attractive package. It is capable of reaching velocities up to 600 FPS to provide the power and accuracy needed for long days of fun backyard plinking.
For added realism, this airgun uses metal cartridges that the shooter loads with a BB and pushes through the loading port, and the cartridges eject when shot. The airgun is powered by two 12-gram CO2 cartridges, which are loaded in the end of the buttplate along with the Allen wrench, to provide ample shots and power, and it has a 10-round internal tube magazine like its firearm inspiration.
The synthetic stock on the Barra 1866 CO2 is durable and lightweight, and the wood grain finish gives it a smooth and classic appearance. The airgun uses a metal receiver for added strength, and it also features an interchangeable barrel system, with the ability to switch to a rifled barrel or a rifled barrel in .22, both available for separate purchase.
In order to provide accurate shots, this air gun includes a fixed front post sight and a flip-up iron sight for realism, as well as a removable short Picatinny optics rail for adding a small red dot sight to further increase precision.
To get an airgun with the looks and features of the lever action guns of history to experience limitless plinking enjoyment, buy the Barra 1866 CO2 BB Rifle at Pyramyd AIR today.

10 of 60 Barra 1866 CO2 BB Reviews

I received the air rifle today and I am very pleased with it. The rifle is what I expected I did a lot of reading and watching videos about the rifle before I ordered it. The only disappointment was I did not receive any CO2 containers or .177 pellets with the rifle, I guess I should have read more about what came with the rifle I bought. It does look and feel like the original rifle I am very impressed with the rifle and its quality.

I purchased this rifle in hopes that it would satisfy the lust for a real cowboy rifle. It has fulfilled my every expectation. it is a very high quality piece that is every bit as good as its cousins. I am extremely proud and display it on my wall along with all my other true firearms.

the Barra 1866 lever action rifle is an amazing replica that blows me away. I've had this rifle for a little over a month now and its still working flawlessly. The action is smooth, trigger is light, sights are true, and feels amazing. The wood furniture is synthetic, but everything else is metal, and it looks the part - even up close. This is a FUN rifle to shoot due to its lever action and shell ejection. Maintenance is easy and I'm happy to say you can take the rifle fully apart to fully clean & re-lubricate the mechanical components - possibly at the cost of voiding warranty. A quick word on shell compatibility: Don't use the bb version of these shells - [rubber tipped front loaded] - over the full metal pellet version - [rear rubber rear loaded] - with this model, they will get stuck and there is a chance you'll break the extractor (The part that launches the shell). Also, if anyone is wondering, the shells for this rifle are proprietary to the Schofield and this rifle only. If you have other brands of shells and were wondering if they'd fit, they won't in either gun. Barra's shells are a bit shorter in length and slimmer in rim diameter. You'll have to buy Barra shells to use in your Barra guns).

Great plinker. I always have a smile on my face as I go out. Partly because I feel a small amount like a cowboy but I also just enjoy the gun itself. If anyone is thinking of purchasing it, definitely do

Barra has totally impressed me with this replica of the Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" Lever Action .44 Rifle. The attention to detail is spot on except for the optics mount that I removed for display purposes. What a fantastic replica to say the least. Many years ago, I bought the Umarex "Walther Wells Fargo Edition" lever action rifle with the gold finish. An awesome rifle that I still cherish to this day and love to shoot. However, the Barra 1866 has gone above and beyond impressive with this rifle. From the really nice gold finish to the attention to detail of this rifle such as the octagon barrel. What an awesome gun to say the least, and with the option to change it from a .177 to a .22 pellet rifle is the cherry on top of an already impressive rifle, and unlike my Umarex Walther rifle; it loads and ejects shells for a much more real experience while shooting this rifle. The only thing that would have made this rifle a total hit for collectors like me is to have had the option to buy it in a real wood stock. The extra cost would have been well worth it. I also know it could have been done because I also own an Umarex "Legends Cowboy" lever action rifle in gold that has a real wood stock which unfortunately is no longer available anywhere. So, a real wood stock kit to replace the foe wood stock on this rifle would be fantastic Barra. Believe me, it would be a real hit with collectors like me. Anyway, real wood stock or not. This is one fantastic rifle, and one I will cherish for years to come. Many thanks Barra, it's a real winner in my book.

I love the way it looks like the real thing. Was bummed out a little because there were gouge marks in the wood stock and butt whenever I opened the box. Other than that I'm okay with the overall look. Haven't shot it yet, been busy working. Hopefully I'll be able to soon.

Okay. You want an honest review? this gun is great loads good, jacks shells good, love how heavy it is, BUT it has problems just like any other gun, after about 20 shots it runs out of co2, great... and its shooting is weak, i shot a board and the pellet just bounced off.

Well made. Could be mistaken for a firearm. It's a real peach.

The beauty and quality of the gun is amazing. One super excited little boy!!

This is an excellent rifle. The action is smooth and crisp, it has excellent accuracy at good range. With the .22 rifled barrel upgrade, it's very good. It's well made and seems very durable. I also have the Umarex Cowboy Legends, and while the two are extremely similar and use the same action and internal parts, the Barra 1866 is the better carbine overall. I'm very pleased with this rifle.
