The Athlon Cronus ATS Pro 35CL-640 Clip-On Thermal Optic delivers a vibrant, clear image even in absolute darkness. This full-featured thermal optic has a built-in laser rangefinder for accurate range finding out to 1,600 yards. It weighs 17 oz and is 5.2” long with 64 GB of onboard storage space to record before and after the shot, thanks to recoil-sensing technology. Designed for performance, it has WiFi, is Bluetooth capable, and has a max detection range of 1,950 yards.
It boasts a 640X512µm thermal sensor and displays a 1280X960 resolution image on a .39” OLED. It offers a 12.5°X9.4° field of view with a 9.5X magnification to ensure you can see targets that are further away. Seven distinct color palettes allow you to choose the best display for your setup with colors that are white hot, black hot, red hot, green hot, iron red, blue hot, and sepia.
This thermal optic is shockproof, waterproof, fog proof, and has a Picatinny mount for easy installation. Zeroing it is easy with the ability to store distances that can be switched by pressing a button. It includes one 18650 rechargeable battery and can be powered by a battery pack in the field if needed. An automatic-off pushes battery limits to about five hours, depending on which of the 10 brightness settings is in use.
