The AirForce TalonP Carbine is one of the most powerful PCP carbines made today. Delivering over 50 ft-lbs of energy in .25 caliber, the TalonP Carbine is the ultimate compact hunting airgun and is easily carried in the field.
Take small and medium quarry with this airgun at distances you'd never normally use a PCP carbine at. However, power is nothing without accuracy, and the Lothar Walther barrels used by Airforce are known for being deadly accurate. This carbine can be fitted with other AirForce barrels in .20 or .22 caliber. However, you cannot mount a .177-caliber barrel as it will cause the reservoir to exhaust all the air.
Adjust the output power of this pint sized rifle at will with the on-board velocity adjuster. Whether you want more shots per fill, or you're after different critters at different distances from day to day, the ease of adjusting the performance of the TalonP Carbine has you covered in any scenario.
With 43.2-grain pellets, you can expect a max velocity of 760 fps. With a 25-grain pellet, you can expect a max velocity of 850 fps. If you're in the market for a powerful PCP and require something that's manuverable, compact and quiet, the Airforce TalonP Carbine is the gun for you!

I bought this primarily for wife because it is so lightweight. She is only 4’10” and 85lbs. My FX Dreamline was too heavy and long for her. I put a red dot on it and it only took 5shots to zero it. At 25 yards I was putting the .25 JSB 25gr through the same hole. At 40 yards the spread could be covered with a dime. I then shot a five foot iguana in the head at 20 yards with a hollow point and took its head off. Ok, she will have to share this gun. BTW, I have the gun on #6 power setting.
Things I Would Have ChangedI knew it was a single shot gun and that is all Airforce offers. Of course from what I have seen it only takes one shot. It would be nice if it were regulated and had a magazine. I guess it means that they would have to hire a few new engineers.
What Others Should KnowI was shooting this in my backyard (and I am close to my neighbors). It is not as quiet as my FX Dreamline, but it is still quiet enough.
Short and lightweight, robust build. Powerful little .25 carbine that’s accurate enough out to 50 yards to use for anything appropriate to the caliber. Critters Beware!
Things I Would Have ChangedFunctionally,, it works great. Aesthetically it’s ugly as sin. For what it is designed to be I don’t think anything needs to be changed. Airforce airguns are well overdue for a cosmetic overhaul though. I can’t imagine if they updated the Airforce lineup that they wouldn’t see a big influx of new interest in their brand.
What Others Should KnowTypical Airforce Airguns build. Feels very heavy-duty, but it isnt heavy. A lot of power in a small package. Shoulders well and is an easy all day carry rifle. You’ll get about ten good shots before you need to top off the tiny air tank, which keeps the weight down for you. Pair this with a good compact scope and you have probably the ultimate truck gun to keep behind your seat. I see my Airforce airguns as rough use utility guns, they are made to last. Not as refined as higher end airguns but dead-nuts reliable all day long. Keep the power level around 5-7 and use the o ring trick behind the top hat to level off the power and you have a decent shooter here that gives you a reasonable amount of shots with a reasonable fps spread for your ten shots. Hades pellets do ok and the 25.39gr JSB Exact King shoot even better from mine.

I bought this initially for my wife because it was lightweight. I equipped it with a red dot and I have found it to be super accurate and powerful. I keep the power setting at 6, and using H & N 25 gr pellets I am grouping a string of 10 in the size of a dime at 25 yards. It is also quiet and these are the all the requirements I need for my backyard.
Things I Would Have ChangedConsider adding a regulator and a magazine. The first one being most important.
What Others Should KnowIt is a single shot, but if you are using this for backyard pests like raccoons, rabbits or iguanas it only takes one shot. It is deadly accurate. Did I mention I bought this for my wife? Now, I will have to get another and paint it pink/purple camo just for her.
