AirForce has kicked it up a notch with their new baffle system, which makes the Condor SS quieter.
The AirForce Condor delivers from 600 fps to a rip-snorting 1300 fps (in .177), and it's recoilless! Accurate (1" at 50 yards) and powerful, this PCP offers extreme flexibility. It has an 18" Lothar Walther barrel (1:16 twist). You can also buy 12" and 24" barrels. Change-outs are easy and don't require any special tools, but the gun will be unsilenced. Built in the USA.
NOTE: The .20 cal. pellets are slightly longer than the .22 cal. pellets of the same weight. Therefore, they drag in the barrel a little more and produce lower velocities. The quoted figures (showing the .20 cal. gun shooting slower than the .22 cal. gun) are actual test figures and are correct.
There are lots of ways to configure this gun, including rail-mounted accessories. You can choose the scope, laser, flashlight, night vision equipment, extra tanks, quick-detach fiber-optic sights and attachments for the type of refilling unit you plan to use. If you replace the barrel with a longer one, the gun will not be silenced.
Carrying an extra filled tank when shooting in the field is a lot easier than carrying a scuba or carbon fiber tank for refills.
The .177-caliber Condor SS has a special tank valve spring. If you plan to attach other caliber barrels to your gun, you may want to buy a tank made for the other calibers (.20, ,22 & .25 calibers use the same tank). If you use the .177-calIber tank with the other smallbore calibers, you'll experience a drop of 50-100 fps in those calibers. However, if you buy the .20, .22 or .25 caliber but plan to also attach a .177-caliber barrel, you must buy a .177-caliber air tank. If you don't, the tank valve spring will not close fast enough, and all your air will be dumped.

10 of 78 AirForce Condor SS Reviews
Power, Accuracy, Low noise
Things I Would Have ChangedMaybe a better trigger
What Others Should KnowThis is a very powerful rifle! With .250" slugs, this will drop woodchucks at over 40 yards. Exceptionally accurate. It is quieter that an air-compressor nail gun. Almost neighborhood friendly.
Simple, rugged, accurate and reliable.
Things I Would Have ChangedManufacturer should supply the ring-loc kit with it to change out the top hat inserts.
What Others Should KnowThis is not a regulated air gun as you probably already know. With that said, it will take time and patience to find the right power settings and pellet combinations. The condor is designed for heavy pellets or slugs. With that said you may see reviews where they use pellets like the H&N Baracuda Match at 21.04 grains. That pellet is good to about 50 yards but even at a low power setting it is still being driven too fast. It will start corkscrewing beyond 50 yards. Consider using heavier slugs instead. Get the Talon for lighter pellets.
The appearance of the gun is definitely cool.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe price is way way to high for the type of performance this gun provides.....It should be priced about the same as a airsoft gun....The performance is about the same as a air soft gun except it shoots real pellets instead of little plastic balls.
What Others Should KnowI don't know if I got a "lemon" gun or not...I see a whole lot of reviews on how accurate this gun is and how good it shoots....If their "good" and "accurate" is based on how this gun performs on the range....well let me say this...ACCURACY IS NOT A 4' CIRCLE @ 35 YRDS !!!!!!!!!!! ACCURACY IS 5 SHOTS INSIDE OF A DIME @ 35YRDS. so if you are buying this for accuracy....forget it don't buy it. If you have a spare $800 plus to throw away because you want a "cool" looking gun then by all means get one peoples eyes light up when you pull this puppy out of the bag at a range wit a nice ATHLON scope mounted on top !! For all you "pros" out there reading this and shaking your head at me saying I must be crazy cuz my (your) gun is accurate....I have gone through at least 8 different types of pellets and different manufactures along with weights starting @ 16gr all the way up to 25.39 ultra shocks by JSB. I also have the ring loc system too. and no deal...contact me if you can help out
I think I'm in love. This gun is dead nuts accurate and the trigger in mine is just as I would have set an adjustable trigger, that is to say that discharge is a surprise each time I fire. Sighted in at 35 yds and after some fiddling( more below) was shooting consistent 3 shot groups in close to same hole. The gun is far better than I am as 78 years has taken a toll. 72 yds. from my shop window to bird feeders in back yard. So far numerous chipmunks, sparrows, 2 red squirrels, 1 black and 1 fox squirrel with 1 shot kills. Does not mean I haven't missed-not the gun, the old man behind it- but with good optics this thing is a winner for me.
Things I Would Have ChangedLike others, I find the gun to be rather louder than I expected (.22 short sound) but is a non-issue for me since I live in the boonies and have no neighbors to concern me. To mount the scope I did find it necessary to buy an anti droop picatinny rail and like a lot of others I believe that for the price of the gun that Air Force should provide a more acceptable mounting platform. At this point, I am not sure how well the matte finish on the gun will endure. Seems a bit easy to mark it when it rubs against something but the marks seem to clean off well with a lambs wool pad and EEZOX.
What Others Should KnowOverall I am very well satisfied with the gun. There are minor tweaks that could have been made at the factory and some tweaks that the user should want to do for him/herself. It is a fun gun to shoot and to play/experiment with. Currently trying to get my own estimate of how many shots I can get before dropping pressure affects accuracy. (Fun project for those with time on their hands in a cold Michigan, Covid related, socially distanced winter)
Good accuracy
What Others Should KnowReceived a gun that had obviously been opened prior to sale as the packing was either missing or not in original position. Order was missing parts (Manual and wrench set) which limited my ability to assemble the rifle for use and had to be sent separately. I have had to use a friends wrench to install the air bottle.
After charging the bottle, I went to my range and after 200 rounds the charging handle would not move to the forward position. It was frozen in the closed position. I called P.A and the person answering was terse and informed me that P.A. did not do any repairs but did give me the phone number for AirForce to arrange for repairs myself. The rifle is now out for repairs at AirForce as they were very good at honoring their warranty. Email to P.A. Informing them of the condition of the packing condition and lack of confidence in the products condition has gone unanswered to date. I wonder what the warranty at P.A. is worth? No mention was ever made for a replacement
adjustable power is very nice....can use for Differ grains of pellet in .177 as needed, just have to lessen the power wheel to keep it below of speed of sound....
Things I Would Have ChangedPicatinny railing would be convenient for all ...
Very powerful, very quiet, relatively lightweight and easy to carry in the woods.
Things I Would Have ChangedIf I were Airforce I would do some re-tooling and introduce a line with a different, more utilitarian appearance. Full length picatinny rails or at a minimum m-lok slots everywhere. The Airforce design has always reminded me of what people in the 1960s thought the guns of the future would look like. But thats just my opinion. That being said I do appreciate the simplicity of the design, and it works so well that I am willing to overlook what I consider to be probably the ugliest appearance of all other pcps on the market. Haha It is otherwise top notch quality all the way around.
What Others Should KnowThe condor SS in .25 is quiet and powerful, and it can launch heavier lead accurately. Caliber changes are a breeze and take only a couple minutes. This is a great MADE IN THE USA rifle and is sized perfectly for carrying in the brush or tossing behind the seat of a truck. Tuning the power and the valve travel are also simple and straightforward. I recommend the Condor SS .25 to anyone looking for a durable, tough little rifle.
My .25 is whisper quiet unlike the older models. Very powerful and out of the box accuracy is very good. Nearly all pellets and slugs produce one ragged hole at 40 yards. Not pellet finicky at all like most other guns.If you don't mind having a single shot rifle then you will love these things
Things I Would Have ChangedFirst and foremost. C'mon Airforce it's time to listen to your customers and for the love of God put a picatinny rail on those things! Develop a quick lock for the tank and do away with that aggravating spin lock system also you need to catch up with every other manufacturer and make it a repeater. Those three things if changed would make it the perfect gun.It would also be nice to see you offer a regulated version that included a 4500 psi tank "These things are very air hungry"
What Others Should KnowThe top hat with the quick change inserts from Talon Tunes WILL NOT WORK on these newer models...The diameter of the insert on the new models are larger than those on the quick change ones from Tony. I just went through that myself and now I have to return it to him. He told me that the new factory top hats flow really good unlike the older models and there's really no need to change them.
Power. This thing shoots through 2x4 scraps with ease. I have owned several pcp air rifles, and this is nasty power. I shoot 2350 psi down to 1500 psi on a charge for around 25 good shots that stack pellet on pellet out to 50 yards. If you like muscle cars, rock music, the military channel, then this is the rifle for you.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would put picatinny rails on top!!! The 11mm dove tail is out dated, on anything.
What Others Should KnowShoot it with the artillery hold and if you shoot grizzlies find something to push the pellet into the chamber. I use a #2 pencil eraser end. It loves them. Mine loves all kinds of pellets, but groups best with JSB 25.39 grains and Polymags. You need a chronograph to tap into the potential of this rifle. Before chronograph testing I was filling to 3000 psi max, but after shooting a few strings mine works best 2350 down to 1500. This thing is a hot rod, not a Cadillac. Find the sweet spot and enjoy the power.

The way it looks, it is light, very easy to load and shoots very accurate. I like that it is American made and is lifetime warranty
Things I Would Have Changedbe nice if it could be made to be regulator adjustable
What Others Should KnowFor everything I mentioned above "under things I like" makes this rifle worth every penny that it costs
