It was very easy to install.
Things I Would Have ChangedDisplay is not that great and I would send batteries with it and not keep them in it. There is no off switch, so if the item is shelved for very long the batteries will be dead. The one I received had dead batteries on arrival.
What Others Should KnowYou will likely need to replace the batteries when you get the item
It is a direct replacement for the original. Installation is easy using care not to damage the unit.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt would be great to have the temperature to read in degrees fahrenheit instead of celsius.

This appears to be a direct replacement identical to the original. I had to damage the original in order to remove it. This replacement does not fit into the opening, so I had to file the opening a bit. When I finally got it to fit, I had to press down very hard on it in order for it to snap into place.
Things I Would Have ChangedOffer a different thermometer that fits better.
