    Things I liked:

Everything pyramidair really helped me find the right air gun it is everything I was expecting and more I have the .25 cal its very powerful and the thumbhole synthetic stock makes it very comfortable and balanced for a perfect shot and light its enough to carry easily all day this is a very good gun for anyone wanting a small to medium size game hunting its my first shot out the box hit bullseye unscoped at 30 yards I highly recommend it.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

this has perfect quality and power for a very incredible price

    Things I liked:

I am 70 years old and still act like a teenager I said act not feel. This is the first air rifle I have ever owned.I could hardly wait for it to arrive. Right out of the box with very little adjustment on the iron sights I was hitting anything i shot at as small as a dime resting on a bench at 25 ft.I know that don't seem like much but I live in a city that don't allow shooting anything that propels an object. But I got behind my house put the 3-9x32 scope on and did the same thing at over 60 ft.I really like this rifle I shot 500+ rounds the first day and a half.I don't think you could buy a better made gun in this price range anywhere than the Hatsan Edge.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I wish was a little better is the trigger. but I can live with it. Maybe someday I can afford the Hatsan 95

    What others should know:

I am no expert but I feel this gun is good enough for anybody.

    Things I liked:

Very powerful, seeming to have alot of kinetic energy when the pellet hits. Fairly light weight.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it easier to cock. Definitely takes an adult w/reasonable strength to cock. Hoping break-in makes cocking a little easier. Someone needs to make round balls in .25 cal - I find them easier & quicker to load, especially for a 2nd shot. Have not found them yet but I think #3 buckshot might work, as it is .25 cal/inches. Sure be alot cheaper. Did try 1/4 inch steel slingshot ball in barrel to try its size. it immediately rolled right out the end of the barrel. The Gamo .22 round ball w/the raised band work well in my Benji Trail .22

    What others should know:

    Great value for the money!

    Things I liked:

Light weight. I can carry this rifle around all day easily. Its easy for a scrawny guy like me to cock. I only weigh about 130#. I bought the .25 cal.

    Things I would have changed:

Add sling mounts. The trigger has a weird shape to it. I don't like the front sight because of the hood over it. It makes it nearly impossible to see my target. Ordinarily, I'm pretty good with open sights. I'm thinking of cutting off the hood over that sight. My rifle came with a tiny bit of barrel droop. Using the open sights, the barrel droop isn't an issue. However, if you want to use a scope, you might want to consider shimming your mount. Don't include the scope and reduce the price of the gun. I haven't yet used a scope on my gun. Weaver rails would be cool.

    What others should know:

Overall, this gun is a very good value for the money. A lot of reviewers have complained about the noodly trigger break. Mine was like that at first too. The trigger is somewhat adjustable. I had a hard time finding a screwdriver to fit it but I apparently managed to adjust it somehow someway. Anyway, I find the trigger on my gun now has a rather crisp break. I must have adjusted because I like it now. I now know exactly where the trigger will break. At first, I found the accuracy very unpredictable at 10 and 20yd. However, that's probably more of an issue with the pellet I was using (H&N Field Trophy Target 20.06gr) and the fact that the gun needs to break in a bit. Currently I'm using JSB Exact 25.39gr and am getting tight groups at 10 yd. Its been raining too much to get out of my basement here lately... So dunno about longer distances yet with the JSBs.

The price of this gun makes it a no brainer . I was very pleased with the gun , accurate, well made solid . Shipping was fast , purchase was easy. Great for left handers.

    Things I would have changed:

I suggest an upgrade of the scope , this scope is fine but not great.

    What others should know:

Im having alot of fun with this gun , if you havnt tried the sport I strongly suggest you do . so far I havnt had this gun very long but was able to get rid of some small red squirrels with head shots at about 30 yrds .

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this air rifle for the price! It looks of quality and feels solid. The gun also shoots very well. If I had it to do all over, I would buy this gun again! Just a great deal.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope, of course, but I mounted a 30 dollar Winchester/Daisy scope and this thing shoots great.

    Things I liked:

I recieved my Hatsan Edge Vortex 25 Cal today and looked it over pretty thourghly. So after examining it I took it out to shoot a few rounds thru it. I purchased the H&N FTT 20.06 grain pellets to go with the Votrex as I read several very favorable reviews when they were used in the 25 Cal Vortex. The Vortex did not disappoint me. A bit more kick than my 22 Cal vortex but not unreasonable and a bit louder but also not unreasonable. As to breaking it in. Not yet as I need to go to the range for that. I won't be using the enclosed scope that came with it and will more than likely purchase a UTG scope for use on either rifle. The open sight on the 25 was pretty close right out of the box as was the open sight on the 22 and both of those were used on a target at 20'. I will update when I get to spend some more time with both of the Hatsan Vortex's

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing

Price to start with. Plenty of decent features here too, overall well built for the money. Real good hitter, pretty consistent groups with H&N pointed.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is not much fun at all. Long pull to a creepy feeling release. Trigger shape is way off for myself and 3 others that have tried this out. Way too much curve on trigger, not sure if this is to make-up for long pull??

    What others should know:

Decent price and quality, packs a good punch. Great sellers with Pyramid, very responsive and reputable company.

Break barrel, a high quality air rifle, good price, packs a punch, accurate, inexpensive ammunition, a good scope, very solid construction, decent range. I recommend this air rifle. I bought this as a survival gun. I also feed the squirrels and rabbits and the turkeys and the deer, them too.

    Things I would have changed:

    Could be lighter in weight.

    What others should know:

PyramydAir is a good outfit, excellent customer service, quality products, fair prices. I also recommend them.

    Things I liked:

Powerful, hard hitting and accurate in both .22 and .25. Ergonomically, comfortable to shoot and the open sights make this rifle easy to aim at the distances at which I shoot. Both require an adult effort to cock so the Edge is most definitely a serious air rifle, not a kids' toy. The .22 hits hard and the .25 even more impressively harder. Neither seem to be picky about ammo, I've tried a selection of different fodder for the .22 and it digests all with equal ease; the .25 has only had 2 different types but also digests both with little, if any, variance.

    Things I would have changed:

Many have complained about the scope being cheap but, as I prefer open sights, this is not a concern. For the price point of the Edge, I have no complaints and the fact that the Edge does have open sights, unlike some other manufacturers' offerings, makes this a superior product from my point of view. Cocking effort requires adult strength but these are adult airguns so I really have no complaints.

    What others should know:

For the record, I have both .22 and .25 Vortex piston rifles bought from PA. Both are solid, accurate, and powerful, as I have previously mentioned, and, in my opinion, give excellent value for a small investment.

this thing will probably kill most scopes . im leaving mine off fore at least 1000 rounds .its not easy to cock .i shoot my benjamin crosman and gamo for hours .i cant do that with this . this gun is no toy . have a solid back stop and watch out shooting metal or anything that might ricochet .the first gun that was shipped to me would not lock the barrel tight . pa stood behind their word and shipped me a new one asap .have them check your gun before shipping

Love it! Very impressed by the .25 ... great impact! Sweet shooter. With open sights I was hitting a cardboard box at 100 yards. And then I put the scope on it. :-) Nice weight, handles nicely.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic stock for the wood stock you can purchase from Hatsan ($40) but it makes it so much nicer. Needs trigger mod ... otherwise it feels like you are pulling forever.

    What others should know:

Need to put flat washers in place of the star washers that are eating their way through the plastic stock. (The 3 screws that hold the stock to the mechanism.)

Very impressed with this rifle, It's the likely the lowest you could possibly pay for a .25 caliber weapon, But do not be fooled, It is very high quality and solid.

    What others should know:

This rifle doesn't play around, It's loud as heck and kicks like a mule for an airgun, But what do you expect? It's firing a .25 caliber pellet.

    Things I liked:

After about 40-50 shots at 20 yards, shooting into a target, with 1/2-1" groups, having an 1/8" steel plate as a back stop, I was only able to recover 5 or 6, 25 gr pellets, which were completely flattened, the rest disintegrated. Never shooting a .25 caliber air rifle before, I am very impressed with the power and out of the box accuracy. The stock is made of a polymer material, feels solid.

    What others should know:

If you take off the scope stop and put the screws back in without the stop, it will stop a complete cocking cycle.

    Things I liked:

Hatsan Edge, Vortex, Black, 22 cal... AWESOME rifle! By far the best rifle & scope combo I currently have in my sub $100 break-barrel collection. Everything nearly perfect right out of the box. Stock screws seem to already have thread-locker on them. Finally! A little bit of initial factory lube dieseling (expected), but the Vortex air spring action is smooth and SWEET! Dime size 10 shot groups at 10 yards and not nearly as fussy about the PERFECT artillery hold.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing on the rifle... but I do wish my cheeks wouldn't hurt from grinning ear to ear every time I use it! ;-P

    What others should know:

There are some complaints that the Vortex air spring may lose pressure over time. Assuming mine stays pressurized (all good so far after 2 weeks and 300+ pellets), I'd say this is the best sub-$100 break-barrel rifle combo currently available! Nice job Hatsan! :-)
