    Things I liked:

This is my 2nd Edge, got the first in the spring version, both .25 caliber. When I saw it on sale for $99.99 AND with the Vortex piston it was a no-brainer to buy this rifle! Lightweight, cocking was an effort at first but gets easier as you break it in. The stock is hollow so you'll hear the twang of the piston in your ear when you shoot but so what? If you're looking for an inexpensive, lightweight, powerhouse of a rifle that's accurate out of the box (mine took like 4 tweaks of the iron sights), go buy one of these!!

    Things I would have changed:

Hatsan could have put the scope stop farther back considering how far back the dovetails go but there are ways around that with the right scope mounts. The trigger also has some play in it but I wasn't expecting a Quattro trigger on a $100 rifle so don't let either of these stop you from getting one.

    What others should know:

Again, I have 2 of these in .25 caliber, spring piston and Vortex piston. The Vortex is easier to cock and less twang in the hollow stock when you shoot but I voided my warranty on both, got a can of spray foam insulation and filled in the stocks. It only adds an ounce or so to an already lightweight rifle and deadens that twang quite a bit. If you're looking for lightweight power for yourself or a great starter rifle in a lower caliber for one of your kids, you can't beat this rifle, go add one to your cart and get shooting!!

    Things I liked:

The light weight and cocking ease. The price is very good. It is very accurate. The fiber optic sights are a big hit with me. I have yet to mount the scope.

    Things I would have changed:

The noise from the piston is a bit loud. But for the money, I am quite OK with it.

    What others should know:

I have been very successful shooting this gun.

    Things I liked:

Great price for a .25. Good looking gun, not too heavy. Good accuracy, and scope isn't junk. Hard to fault for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

While some found it easy to cock, I think it is quite a handful. I have 8 single cock air rifles, and none are as difficult to cock as this one. Still breaking t in however, and it should get easier with use.

    What others should know:

I'm not much of a hunter, but it seems this will do the job. Speed isn't great. It is rated at 625 fps as I recall, but the best I have done on my chronometer with several different lead pellets is 569 fps. Still, the energy delivered by the .25 is pretty impressive. First Hatsan I have owned, and I would buy another.

The power. 730 FPS on average . It's lightweigth .

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger. The scope mount design is bad .

    What others should know:

I would not recomend this rifle . Spend a little more money and buy a good quality air rifle . Hatsan drop the ball on this rifle .

Great gun..

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

Does make Quite A twang metal type sound. But that is just a sound, doesn't change the Performance Of the gun in anyway.

    Things I liked:

The Hatsan is a lighter rifle and easy to carry. It is accurate out of the box with the iron sights. It is a good gun for the price. In fact it is just as good as other rifles at twice the price.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope obviously needs to be better but you can't complain about the price. The mounting for the scope should be a Weaver/Picatinny for a firmer grip. I had to tighten the scope a second time but added a bit force to keep it on. So far so good.

    What others should know:

They don't publish the energy for cocking the piston but it feels like in the 40 + lbs. range. Again a great gun for the price.

    Things I liked:

I like the feel of the rifle and lightness of it. The power this puts out is really good. Trigger is very comfortable.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope mounts are very flimsy and when I received it the mounts were on backwards. It almost looked like it was a returned item or something. I started adjusting the mounts the right way and noticed that they don't sit on the rifle straight, they literally lean to the side when they are tightened.

    What others should know:

This is my first Hatsan purchase and I wasn't impressed. It shoots fine, it's very easy to carry and handle but, the scope is very important to me. I bought a Crosman NPS before I bought this Hatsan and frankly, I enjoy shooting the Crossman much more. If I used the iron sights than I probably had a different opinion but I prefer scopes.

    Things I liked:

My .177 cal. is accurate out of the box. 10 pellets in one ragged hole at 10 meters.

    Things I would have changed:

    Most everything.

    What others should know:

Recoil is so bad that firing 15 pellets gave me a headache and sore shoulder. This rifle is not a pleasure to shoot. I will play with it a while but the idea of giving it to my 15 year old grandson has been abandoned. Just not feasible to do so. Of 23 break barrel rifles I own this Hatsan Edge is the at the bottom of the list for being usable.

    Things I liked:

The price, the quality, it's very quiet, comfortable stock grip,it hits very hard.I like the open sights and still haven't mounted the scope that it came with. Safety is easy to engage and disengage.

    Things I would have changed:

Perhaps a choice of a full wood grain wood stock?

    What others should know:

This .25 cal air rifle made quite an impact with our little group. We are used to to the .177 &.22 on our little range, this air rifle ripped thru our 3/8" plywood backstop. We were all impressed how quiet this pellet rifle is. I think you could humanly and successfully engage in 'varmint' control. I was unaware that Turkey was building so many air guns, I was impressed and felt their quality in general better to the Chinese ones.

    Things I liked:

For $119 with a scope, I really can't complain, but I am. The rifle's plastic stock is cracking at the fore-end screws. This developed withing 60 days on one side, the other side took somewhat longer. The best 10 shot group I can claim with this rifle is almost 3" at 35 ft. That's no where near the accuracy I require to exterminate squirrels in an urban environment. The power is devastating. If I can hit the squirrel where I want, one shot kills are the norm. (I like head shots) The problem is three shots later a new zero is required. I suspect the stock has something to do with that. I also had to change the scope mount, as the 2-piece provided wiggled all over with recoil. An inexpensive Leapers did the trick. I'll try replacing the stock with a wood stock next.

    Things I would have changed:

A beefier mount for the scope is REQUIRED and the rifle needs to be offered with a wood stock variant.

    What others should know:

I've been shooting since I was 6 years old, I'm over 50 now. My first springer was an RWS Diana when I was 7. If I can't get this one to sub 1 inch groups at 35 feet, then I'll go back to an RWS Diana. You get what you pay for

    Nice looking air rifle

    Things I would have changed:

Hatsan needs to do a quality control check before selling their product!!!

    What others should know:

My particular 22 cal. rifle had an oversize bore and pellet practically fell through barrel with very little pressure, and of course there was no imprint of rifleing. The barrel was so oversized air was bypassing pellet Pyramid Air refunded my money without any problem, they are great to work with. I own 2 other Hatsans and they are just OK.

Accurate out of the box. Hits like a hammer. Light and easy to cock. Nice trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

This is my first .25 caliber and I'm loving it. Easy to cock, not too loud and very mild recoil. Shoots clean through a 1" oak board at 20 feet. I can't wait to hunt with it this fall. For the money you can't go wrong with this one.
